  1. a copy of wildbill to wildcat perchance?. I've never read it
  2. What terrible news. I've been fortunate to chat to him at Belle Vue on many occasions over the years. Always took the time to give me his witty perspective on numerous aspects of the sport. The guy was a legend for all the right reasons and will be sadly missed. RIP Tim, my condolences to his family.
  3. thanks for the updates. I'm sure there used to be a granstand on either side (on the front and back straights) Is it my age, or is one missing now? (1st pic in last post; there was one on the right IIRC)
  4. Thanks Roy, living in Urmston. i travel across the lower viaduct whenever i go into Manchester, the train always has a halt which allows plenty of time to admire the ironwork!. i wish you'd taught history at my school... i may have passed it if you had!!
  5. thanks Wrinkle mate; will look out for that
  6. I don't have facebook, but I've recently (yesterday) got a PS4. as a total newbie; how do I get going on this? is it based on an existing downloadable game? apologies if my questions seem puerile; it's because they are
  7. Great update! thanks. Q) in what way is the cab not up to 2020 regulations? interested, that's all! keep up the good work
  8. If it's cold; could be Buxton mid-summer.!
  9. I'm going to clap for Roy this Thursday in recognition of his efforts keeping us sane.
  10. thanks once more Roy. keep `em coming, especially in these bleak times.
  11. Thanks Roy, I currently own my 2nd TVR and was fortunate to visit the factory in probably its busiest period in the early `90's. They had the Chimera protoype being built; it was top secret so they told us not to take photos of it! that's it! no signing disclosure agreements or anything. Peter Wheeler was at the helm back then; a giant lanky framed bloke with a keen eye for vehicle design and seemingly keener one for recruiting supermodels as staff there!
  12. Thanks Carole; can you tell me why the superstu car was at the workshop?I assume its still the original still owned by Peter?
  13. Slightly O/T (forgive me) on what platform does uk dirt operate*? is it via a gaming console or PC*? looks very good; somehow it's passed me by. maybe `cos I have more time on my hands of late for some reason...………..? I took a look on the website, but the answers to my questions are not obvious (to me anyhow) any info, what controllers are used (I can't drive with a key pad!) , how easy it is to set up etc appreciated *thanks in anticipation
  14. please continue Roy; hopefully someone will get the galleries working so you can load the pics up too. PS; stay safe everyone.
