In the interests of fair competition, I would just like to point out that Competition Car Insurance is also run by a motorsports enthusiast although not necessarily an oval racer. Richard Egger has been a regular rally competitor for over 20 years to my knowledge and has helped many people over the years who struggled to get insurance for rally cars, support vehicles, etc. He is now a regular in the Historic Rallies in his Mk1 Escort. I don't know whether he has much involvement in oval racing, but his company is signed up as an F2 partner for 2007.

That has to be one of the most dubious typos ever on this forum.

I think it's a Mike Close car but not 100% sure. It's regular driver was Dave Eccles (ex-ministox 22) who later went on to win the Trackstar Banger World Final at Swaffham in the late 90's.
