Apologies for replying to my earlier posting. Rich (and I hope this doesn't embarrass you): Well I finally got my eyes on the DVD set and I have to say that they are absolutely excellent. The camerawork is nothing short of superb throughout. Everyone who I've shown these to during the week have asked me which company produced the discs! What's more, you seem to have a knack for knowing who is leading & being able to follow (or, more accurately, predict!) the major lead changes throughout - all this while trying to film the action. I still can't do that without the added burden of a camera. A huge thank you from me

Rich, the DVD set came through today - and they look brilliant - cheers Unfortunately, I won't be able to critique them just yet, because my wife got there first & announced that, because I hadn't told her what I wanted for Christmas, then the DVD set would be *it*. Well I'd pay 28 quid for a copy of some BriSCA meetings from 1974/5. If only such a thing existed... On the other hand - wouldn't it be better to sell 6 copies at £5 each rather than 1 @ £28?

Chris! Gift horse? Mouth? I've got an old Sony Dav-S800 which is giving me problems with another DVD I bought from an ebaY seller (see elsewhere on the for sale/wanted board). So I'll give one a go - your choice of disc. And if it works, I'll buy some more from you - how's that? Cheers

Sadly, we have a 4ish yr-old 'home cinema in a box' system - seemed a good idea at the time. I don't know how well a second disc spinner will go down (I'll need to keep the first box because that's got all the surround amps in it). I've just had a (swift) look at the manual and it doesn't even make mention of anything other than pre-recorded DVDs.

Thanks Daniel, I have absolutely no idea what sort of disc it is (is there an easy eay to find out?). The non-data side of the disc is a silvery white colour - no writing etc. I'm assuming I'll have to rip it & burn my own copy - which now means buying a DVD writer for my PC. I don't think copyright is an issue in this case - and BTW, the DVD wasn't sourced from a Stoxnet user, for the record.

Quick question (and Matt, apolgies if I could have found this on the dvd.reviewer fora): I have a stock car DVD which comprises a folder of VOB, IFO & BUP files. It plays OK on my PC, but not my ageing standalone DVD player. Is there a way I can convert the info, via my PC, to create a disc that will play & if so, what software & hardware do I need? Any help gratefully received!
