Stoxnet Driver Of The Day and Racin' Ratin' Driver of the Day (DOTD) voting takes place after each meeting during the season, and is an opportunity for you to give your chosen driver some recognition for a great performance. At the same time, members are invited to rate each meeting on a scale of one to ten, via the Racin' Ratin' (RR) score - with ten being a brilliant event, and one meaning you possibly wished you'd stayed at home! It doesn't have to be just numbers, feel free to add some words if you like. You can mention the other formulas if you want, but please keep any comments and discussion to just the F1 racing. Simple rules for joining in are as follows: One vote per member, per meeting please. If you vote for two or more drivers, then none will be counted. For the Racin' Ratin', a whole number between 1 and 10 please - fractions are not counted. To vote, you must have watched the meeting - in person or live stream. Driver Of The Day nominations for F1 drivers only, please - we are, after all, a Pure F1 forum! Posts that don't contain either a DOTD nomination or an RR vote will be either moved or removed. At the end of each week, we tot up the number of votes for each driver to determine the Driver of the Day for each meeting. We then add up the RR scores and take an average to produce an overall RR score for each event. Note that a minimum 10 RR scores are required per meeting before we declare an overall RR for that meeting. Less than 10 scores, RR is void. Please note also that we may elect to combine scores over Speed Weekends to meet the minimum requirements above.

Stoxnet will be getting its annual software upgrade at some point over the closed season, and apart from some cosmetic updates, we're taking the opportunity to make a few changes to keep it relevant. The sub-forums are going to be re-organised like so. Stadium Info For The Travelling Fan will be archived because it hasn't been used for over 3 years, a lot of the info is out of date, and the rest is more easily found in other places. Forthcoming Events will be renamed to Essential Information and used for meeting previews, news, press releases, live results, website updates, Roy's Off Season Gallery, anything else that might be useful or of interest to the general public. It will not be used for general discussion. Pure F1 will be for general chat about F1, plus Driver Of The Day, and will be visible to Stoxnet members only. Website Updates will be archived because only a few posts have been regularly updated in the last 18 months - these will be moved into Essential Information. For Sale & Wanted will stay as it is. The photo gallery will stay as it is. At some point, Stoxnet will be offline while this takes place.

We've received this from Austin's stepson, Antony. Hello My step father was Austin WIlkinson 436. He recently died and myself and the family are trying to tack down old footage, old pictures, programs etc. Anything connected to his racing in Stock Cars. We would also love to track down where his car went, if it was sold on etc. Any help from you guys would be so much appreciated. Could you please ask around for us.

Statement on behalf of BriSCA / BSCDA / ORCi & BMB On behalf of our sport, we join our community in being shocked, saddened and numbed following a tragic accident at Birmingham Wheels last night involving an esteemed friend, ambassador and huge and valued supporter of our sport. Sadly, Mr Colin North passed away yesterday evening, 16th November following a tragic accident. As you would understand, those directly involved are shocked and numbed. Today our thoughts and condolences are with Colin's family and very many friends within a wide range of communities, particularly oval racing and Speedway where, over many years, Colin, a gentleman in every sense of the word and a man of huge integrity was more than a valued sponsor, indeed a 'friend, patron and ambassador' for our sport. At this time it really is difficult for us to put into words our sadness at this tragic loss.. "We are co-operating fully with the Police and Health and Safety Executive who are investigating this tragic accident. Further information will be provided in due course but at this stage in the investigation it is inappropriate for us to comment further and we will not do so."

Posted on behalf of Mandy Pickles: I am writing on behalf of a relative who has come into the possession of this stock car: http://www.stoxpics.co.uk/Picture_Pages/He.../Mike_close.htm I was wondering if your forum members could help with a valuation. My relative is looking to get a valuation for the car to sell but isn't sure how to go about it.I saw your forum on the web and thought your members may be able to offer some help on how to go about getting a valuation and where would be the best place to advertise it. Any help would be greatly received. Thanks Mandy
