There are two big truck stop areas on the a5 at cannock with 24 hour facilities if anyone wants to stop near the raceway without upseting the locals.

tomorrow will be my first meeting of the year. will be with my daughter and will be meeting up with a few very good friends. I will be on the west bend on the top near the grand stand. If anyone wants to come and say hello, ask for Carlton, im sure someone will know me !!

Belle Vue and Coventry used to run three heats with 60 cars booked in regularly. 56 at the moment so why not stick with the old format, three heats and build up to a big car final and gn ?

It is my favourite shale venue, but due to personnal reasons i cannot make it this weekend. I hope Mildenhall can get more F1 meetings to complement the already top notch F2 and saloon sessions. Once a month 20 F1's, 40 F2's and 30 saloons, must see sessions surely to any red bloodied short oval fan !! Looks like everyone enjoyed it. How about it BriSCa . F2 and national saloons are regular with the very entertaining bangers . how about it , twice a year for the F1's or a weekender ??

If you cant afford it, and sadly due to personnal reasons i cant, dont go. Personnally I think the track is too small for a modern F1, but perfect for F2's and saloons. my favourite current track. Support it, or loose it. simples. and yes i was at the 1987 meeting.

well if they are snowed in they wont be there, but the meeting is on, enjoy.

sadly got to work tomorrow so i wont be able to attend but would just like to say to any F1 only fans that are local to kings Lynn go and support this event simply due to the fact that Autospeed are the best most organised promotional team in the UK. The world final has many tarmac only racers in borrowed machinary, and two front rows that dont particularly like each other. i feel tomorrow evening could provide another surprise f2 world champion and a cracking weekend of racing with big grids of f2's and saloons.

Harry if you get 20 F2s at a Midlands tarmac meeting now a days you are very lucky full stop. Sadly f2 racing in the Midlands is on its last legs.

Andy the f1 world final is not spedeworth biggest meeting of the year by any means. Think you will find they rank the national hot rod world final weekend and banger world final higher than they do f1s by a long way.

A lot bigger crowd though BM And for hot rods .

All roads lead to the east coast this weekend again then. 80 F2s and 50 saloons booked for the Mildenhall weekend ☺

I cant go due to work, whoever turns up and races I hope they enjoy it. Personally i think it was a better weekend with just f2 and saloons racing up. But 48 F1's on tarmac, cant really complain.
