Beware Counterfeit Belts Being Sold Online. The Motorsport Safety Foundation has found counterfeit safety harnesses labeled as Sabelt, Sparco and Takata brands that can be very dangerous for racers. The Foundation says the belts are being sold on eBay and Facebook but didn’t give the name of the seller or sellers–they say because possible prosecution is pending. The team has also released a shocking video showing the ‘catastrophic fail’ of the counterfeit Sparco six-point harness failing in controlled safety test conditions at just 50mph. The harness failed on several points, indicating that in a real life situation–and under normal use–it could cause death or serious injury. The Foundation stresses that there are no safety issues with genuine Sparco, Sabelt and Takata harnesses. The issues are only with the counterfeit pieces. To make sure you aren’t taken in by counterfeit products, your best bet is to only buy through an authorized retailer. For example, you can trust that the product sold through Jegs, Summit or other widely recognized retailers are genuine, but beware sellers you’ve never heard of on eBay. Police in Wales have discovered a counterfeit racing harness operation that sold fake belts branded as Sparco, Sabelt and Takata. The belts in question were sold through eBay and Facebook, and where possible buyers have been contacted and told to remove the belts from their vehicles immediately. Police officers are working with Sabelt, Sparco and Takata to provide customers with a way of checking whether they have purchased legitimate harnesses. Anyone who believes they may have purchased fake harnesses should contact their local trading standards office as soon as possible. As tempting as it is to pick up car parts on the cheap, when it comes to equipment like harnesses, saving a few quid really isn’t worth killing yourself for.

one man filming who knows what he's doing can catch far more than 5 men filming that dont i much prefer a one camera view from down the straight, with the occasional alternative view. you can follow the race much better around an oval. Can't argue with that can you.

With the cost of motoring continuing to rise and the ALL IMPORTANT Shootout rounds now under way. Maybe we should remind ourselves of some good old 1940's advice. -
Better than that my friend. It transforms the crowd back into the golden age era!! The first Photo "A" is of a modern day race fan, the second "B" is the very same shot BUT as viewed through the lens of the BBTTFM ! A B Notice the transformation of the Race fan and the 'extra' crowd appear to fill the background when wearing the BBTTFM. I stand by the statement that this is the greatest Stock Car Invention of all time : The BriSCA Back To The Future Mask (Mk1)

For Sale: The BriSCA Back To The Future Mask. For years I have been toiling away in my garden shed striving to produce the greatest Stock Car Invention of all time : The BriSCA Back To The Future Mask (Mk1) Simply place the BBTTFM on whilst at a current meeting and you will be whirled back in to time (your vision of the race will) and behold the sight of 25 roll overs per race! White and Yellow tops fencing the Superstars at every opportunity even when 5 (yes 5!) Laps Down!. And as if that was not enough, hold on cos we got barrels! hundreds of them, see them get punted across the track. It's so realistic, I guarantee you'll be dodging for cover as only you, wearing your BBTTFM will see that Barrell heading over the wires and into the crowd! Did I forget to mention that when wearing the BBTTFM every track will be transformed into Rope And Post! But that's not all, thanks to a 'Thought delusion' Chip (originally developed by TV companies to make you believe the current TV is good), you'll actually believe that every car out on track cost a whopping 1 and 6 and was sourced at the local scrap yard with NO Race Car Performance Bits. This Chip is so good it'll have you taking off your road car wheels just to get a Stock Car out on track for the GN. Don't Delay, Order Today. Your BriSCA Back To The Future Mask. PM me or send carrier pigeon to the 'Stock Car Shed, Morpeth' *image sourced from I'm Not Right In The Head Facebook page.

Just checked my calendar and it ain't no First of April!!! I do hope you reconsider. Each year they get better and better, and now in Widescreen - Even a cut-down-season-highlights would be a must buy. Save space by cutting down on the onscreen race results time, hay hay hay it's DVD, Widescreen = Flicker free if paused. I'll pre-order what-ever you produce for 2009 Right Now.

Mr.Postman popped mine though the letter Box today, All that's needed now is Mr.C's autograph inside

Very true, A LOT of interest from the drivers themselves, if only Colin had brought 50 copies with him Oh so it's your hardcover version now is it, well you are in it i guess. Not on commission either, but this really something i hope comes out every year. Colin any chance of doing some back dated books 2007, 2006, 2005........ No idea on whatkind of hard-drive photo storage you have. But it's a long off season (not long enough for some)
