What's the ban regards drivers racing at swaffham? Because dont any drivers racing at non orci sanctioned meetings receive a ban ?
  2. Wouldn't it be nice for us old timers if a old style car could be built to modern day spec , and raced with the current cars, imagine andy or stuart in a up to date do do , just the shape style and sign writing, be like turning the clock back, I can dream

I see this kind of comment a lot on social media. For the sake of accuracy, there isn't a single member of the management team from 1997 still involved with the Bulls. The decision at the time was, wrongly, taken by the then board of directors. As a fan of both, I'd love to see Stock Cars and Speedway back at Odsal and many other rugby fans feel the same way. Theoretically, the pitch size will be irrelevant as the Bulls have moved out and are playing home games at Dewsbury this season. But Dave, as has been said - if there's any future Odsal will need to function with multi use. They just need to get a small lower league football club involved to share too. Leeds United perhaps?? love the football team comment

Bulls didnt want stock cars and speedway when they were top of there game with crowds of 17/18k , how the mighty have fallen
  6. The fixtures are out that's what the fans wanted, they also wanted new/ re visited tracks that's what they have got, so let's not moan about it, if you want to go to a certain meeting go, if you dont want to for whatever reason dont go , it's simple! Let's enjoy the on track action ,this must have been the worst closed season for a long time for promoters / fixture planners not just for f1,s but for the dozens of different formula,s up and down the country , so a big well done to all involved , and it's only a week or so later than normal
  7. The other thing that needs to be taken into account is the fact it's not just the brisca formula that are now going to be looking for alternative dates for there drivers , just think how many other formula are in the same position as f1,s the list is endless and I personally really feel for the bsdca/ brisca and all the committee members from all the other formula working hard behind the scenes , it's such a difficult task sorting fixtures in a good year never mind in this current situation ,
  8. Also what about the drivers fwj , 16, 217 etc that build stock cars, do think they want less meetings / venues etc, I certainly dont, and as I have said a couple of times before speak to bsdca or brisca members with your ideas,
  9. and what could be done before the hammer fell on these venues?Consideration of alternative venues for the dates that could be lost, be pro-active. Consider if you need to replace those fixtures. what do you think he bsdca and brisca are doing ???

    Fixture list 2020

of course there's still a need for a paper fixture list, not everybody has internet accessQuick Google Check. 95% of British have a mobile phone. Think most of them are able to connect to the internet by wifi or data. That number is high enough to me. mmmmm I know quite a lot of this "5%!"

    Swaffham

Hows has the topic titled "swaffham " turned in this !!!!!, Last year saw some brilliant on track action, let's look forward to the 2020 season with optimism and positivity; let the bsdca and brisca do they jobs which is a thankless time consuming task and I take my hat off to them, giving there free time for very little or no reward just for the love of the sport ! We have a brilliant product, not perfect but what In life is?
