Sorry Roy, but I have to disagree with this. The winner had just crossed the line so as 43 entered turn 1 where he was put in the fence he was just starting his final lap and was therefore still racing. The implication of 'after the flag' is that somebody put him in after the race was complete. Even if you have completed racing distance, which 43 hadn't at this point, the race is still live until the required number of qualifiers/points scorers have completed race distance. This is when the red flag is dropped. All cars should continue racing until the red flag is shown. Yes, fair play Dave i can't argue with that. -

Pit news: Three cars involved in a big turn 1 shunt. 172 got pushed wide into the startline fence and did a full 360. 2 & 175 had no time to react and they all ended up hitting the plating. Karl came off worse. 2 - Loading up. Not enough time to repair the front and rear right corners. 172 - Loading up with damage from the above. 175 - Loading up. Karl was badly winded and needed medical assistance. He feels rough but is back at his car. Front left corner will need working on this week. 70 - Bent front axle and top right link. Update on 259: Oil still leaking from around the breather. Suspect it could be spraying from elsewhere at race speed. That's it from the pits. Have a good week folks. Back at Hednesford. -
