Can hardly believe this very sad and tragic news. We bumped into Tim only a couple of weeks ago in Bedford Park as he walked the dogs and had a great chat with him. He was one of our favourite drivers (well, one of everybody’s favourite drivers!), always a proper old skool racer and entertainer too, plus being from our hometown, we would always cheer him on. Known him for 30 plus years, and remember being at Brafield when he won a race and Chrissy proposed to him on the track afterwards. Love and thoughts to Chrissy and the family. Very sad to hear about Roger, writing this with tears in my eyes. My brother Chris and I used to regularly write reports and send photos to his excellent Roger’s UK Oval Racing Pages. It was always good to meet up at meetings for a chat. Our condolences to Julie and the rest of his family and friends. RIP Roger
