  1. Do I start digging, or just leave the 2 foot drifts round the trailer?
  2. Unless you are very early you won't get on stadium car park, and its £2? Look for showcase Cinema car park on Hyde Road, follow it to the back. Stadium entrance is just across the road. It's free, Steve Rees pays them, well done Mr Rees.
  3. Pat Byrne. Good to see Paddy, Rita and Jane in the pits tonight. First time for many years. Pat was signing autographs, turned the clock back 50 years.
  4. ' Stephens borrowing it to help get it going/ finish it off/set it up while Richards busy,' Otherwise known as the blind leading the blind.
  5. I have raced on Morrisons car park before they got it. Think maybe your dad did too. Ste's racing number is a throwback to a Littleborough driver from the past that I used to race with and know quite well.
  6. Let it run Carl, shows Stoxnet members are not frightened of standing up and being counted. Even Jeremy is coming round a little.
  7. I did have an ulterior motive for wanting to see a drivers list. I believe there may be an addition later.
  8. I did wonder if it might be off with the rain lately. Who knows?
  9. If those are on the gate prices, I can't see the advantage of advanced booking on the link.
  10. Thanks for that Chris. My guess 226. Rank outsider 905 who isn't even on the grid yet, but it has been done in the past.
  11. Stav, Does 455 matt Armstrong really come from FRANCE as it says on the booking list ? And does he keep his car over here like Daniel van SpijkerYes I have been told he does live in France. Lived in King Lynn when we knew him, am I allowed to mention Rebels lol. But his other half was French, so quite possible. Will try to ask him if I remember.
  12. Spot on with the disabled ramp Dougie, its great up there, but not easy.
  13. Have read that through a couple of times and find nothing I can disagree with. I didn't see all the F1 races myself, so have not voted, but 6 or 7 is about right. Many people were attracted by the Caravans it would seem, as very few left early. I even watched them myself. Steve Rees certainly knows how to drag people in, it's not all about F1s at the moment.
  14. Yes in between putting the fence up, setting the cones out, scrutineering the cars, signing in, cleaning the toilets, driving the tractors, commentating. Picking up the litter and pulling it all down again. Been there and got the tea shirt. Might even get time for a Coffee with proper milk Edit, Forgot, empty the Toilets, that's the best bit.
  15. Ged's an Autograss man. They get there at 8am and go home at 8pm.
  16. The F1 programme starts at 4pm and that's what's being advertised. Although I think it's good that the term "pre-meeting" seems to have been dropped from this year's press releases. The vast majority of people don't turn up a few minutes before start time, pretty much everyone that's going will already be there well before 3.30pm. Now says 'arrive early for support races'.
  17. .Not really hatman , Coventry nearly always topped 60 cars, Bradford was way up there too with 3 heat meetings , so a 26 car two thirds meeting format does not entice me I'm afraid. The "cracker" at Christmas was only enlightened a bit, by a tremendous effort by a first time Dutch entrant. To be honest after a winter break 26 cars is a poor effort by the F1 drivers. Good on the F2 lads though !At 26 cars it'll be all in. But what a doom and gloom post. He is right stock car racing is magic and can produce great racing regardless of car numbers. Especially at a track like Belle Vue which is known for good racing of late. And for info the F2s are 3 weeks into their season hence why a lot more cars are ready and racing. From a shale point there has already been Kings Lynn and Stoke. F2s are 3 weeks in, but have been well attended on shale from the very start.
  18. Would imagine so, comes from same area. Good luck to him, nice bloke Darren.
  19. I'd go for the meal. Bar fills up very early, Grandstand seats are fine but you have to keep standing up for people to pass. Likely to be easier if you are dining in Restaurant and guaranteed seat.
