Press Release. Stoxkarts Ltd. Current owner and promoter of the Stoxkarts formula Ian Higgins has announced his decision to sell the formula as a going concern. Pending early retirement Ian has stated that he has reluctantly taken the decision to advertise the the sale of the Company Stoxkarts Ltd. which includes all assets along with the rights for the formula. After purchasing the ailing formula in 2009 Paul and Ian Higgins set about re-branding and re-building the formula. After 7 years the formula is now well established with a rapid growth from 20 karts to 88 now in circulation. In 2014 Ian bought out Pauls interests in the formula and has now decided that plans need to be put in place for his planned retirement in 2020 Racing approximately 28 meetings a season from April to November, the formula is affiliated to the ORCi and races at many of its tracks around the UK. With most meetings averaging 40+ karts the formula has proved to be a an excellent addition to race meetings for promoters and has also provided excellent entertainment for the spectators. Ian has stated he wishes to still be involved to help a smooth transition for any new owner and that he is still 100% committed to the formula which he loves so much. We have a set of intercomp scales for sale. I have owned them for 18 years! old but good and in a used condition.(bit like me)!! 15" pads. Very heavy Duty. Used for setting up my F1 back in the day. Just spent £400 with Intercomp having them Calibrated and new Intercomp recargable batteries fitted. We have been using them for technical scruitineering in the Stoxkarts for the last 6 years but they are way over the top for what we need so getting a 500kg set instead. We have 2 places available on our transporter leaving ours on Thusday at 6pm catching the Thursday night crossing from Hull returning Sunday night.. We tried the plumed in fire extinguisher system when I raced rebels a lot of years ago, we had a lot of problems with them going off in big impacts. HVe any F1 drivers tried these? If so have they been ok?

This Sunday not only sees the F1s having their shoot out at Northampton, it is also the Stoxkarts 2014 Teng Tools Gold Top Race. 36 Karts have qualified for the 20 lap race which should be a cracker.... Grand Parade is at 1pm and the race itself should kick off at 1.30. We will also be running 2 heats and a feature on the day too. please give the guys and Girls a big cheer, they really appreciate it.

Stoxkarts Ltd. are holding an official test day at Birmingham wheels on Saturday 29th November 2pm to 8 pm. This is for any Junior or Senior driver thinking about giving the formula a try in 2015. Limited to 12 places on a first come first served basis. £50 per place. £25 non refundable deposit at time of booking, balance on the day. The Stoxkarts will be holding their Teng Tools Sponsored Gold Top Championship Race at Stoke on September the 28th. The 36 Kart grid will do a grand parade at 4.30pm with the race starting at 5pm. So anyone comming to watch the F1s get along early and see some close action packed racing! The following day we are also racing with both Juniors and Seniors and a NZ Style teams race at the end of the meeting. We tend to do things a little different in the Stoxkarts... Our big race has up to 5 rolling laps bumper to bumper and the green flag can be dropped at any time during those 5 laps, could be down the back straight, entering turn 1.. only Mr Starter knows when he will be calling it!! Again on the Sunday it is a little different. Racing starts at Mid day and there will be 4 Junior Races, 4 senior races and 4 teams races and all for just £5 admission on Sunday!! so why not make a weekend of it and stay over and have a few beers with the Stoxkarts Family.

Thursday sees day 1 of the Skeggy treble for the stoxkarts. It is rd 1 of the Skye Direct British Drivers Championship. Friday night sees us all out round skeggy, early evening at a family pub where all the family's enjoy an evening, later on the party animals head into town for a late 1! Saturday evening sees the Stoxkarts open BBQ at cottage farm, everyone welcome to come and see what a great bunch we are, free food bring your own booze! Sunday sees rd 2 of the British with 40 karts competing in the final on Monday! An excellent fun packed weekend so why not pop along and say hi.

The Stoxkarts are racing at Buxton on Saturday, 27 Karts in the seniors and 11 Juniors booked to race, £5 admission on the day for anyone wanting to come and watch.. we are camping overnight and also racing sunday so the Bar will be open!! would be nice to see a few there to see what a chilled out fun time we have.

This Saturday sees the stoxkarts season opener at Stoke with a 1 pm start time. 26 seniors and 14 juniors will be racing for Gold Top Qualifying points. Why not blow away those winter cobwebs and come along and have a chilled out afternoon of fun racing.

I have for sale a Simpson D Cell Neck and body restraint XL comes complete with all fixings etc.. only used once.. Cost £400 new will take £280 for it. it is blue and still has the box and instructions, Allowed in F1 - F2 - V8s etc.. Just could not get on with it but know a lot of drivers really like them. The car was damaged at Stoke and as peaky said FWJ transports my car so it was loaded up early. I am doing the next 2 Belle Vues but that is it. I have had a provisional offer on the car and will know for definate at Belle Vue but still for sale untill the money is in the bank.
