Sorry , but after thinking long and hard about a 29 car turnout, 17 races, which will probably take nearly 5 hours and a long drive home on a terribly busy M6 I have decided to stay at home. I think you have to ask the drivers themselves why they don't support BV and I don't think it is just the fact of work the day after. Traditional Sunday meetings with work the day after still drew far more than 29 cars. Maybe its the 4 + caravan formulas, maybe its the post and wire fence. Sad to say, but will we really miss BV and its meetings these days ? ? Not sure I will. I will miss it as it’s the only venue I attend these days however with one or two obstacles in the way I’m not going tomorrow, Mid 30s plus might have tempted me to overcome them ,

Couldn’t agree more. Especially after what happened at Sheffield after the whites and yellows race, two heats with reduced numbers. I don’t mind the lower Grades having a chance but with only 29 cars do they really need a stand alone heat.
