Normal points (I think) are:
Heat - 12,10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2
Cons - 8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1
Final - 25.20.18.16.14.12.10.8.6.4.2
GN - 16,14,12,11,10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3
Sunday are double the above. final winner is on 4x points in GN
Ricky may correct me?

That would be the way forward but not sure if any shale track would take three days racing in a row?
There's a nice little track just down the road in Mildenhall...…..

Given that it seems unlikely you will struggle to attract F1 participants, I could not agree with including another formula at the expense of (whatever number) F1's missing out as a result. Whether it be saloons or otherwise - the formula is immaterial - it's the principle on a fundamental level.F1 StockCars, hopefully at their best, at a place as good as the Norfolk Arena, raw, undiluted, relentless, as nature never intended but created anyway - that shouldn't need 'support' in a million years?!That is not to say I would just throw the F1 booking list wide open however - I wouldn't. What I would like to see is a structured approach, which would give the meeting overall a sense of flow and of, hopefully, building up to a second climax, of sorts. This rather than the anti-climax that Grand Nationals can be on any race night, and that effect is never more starkly demonstrated than on WF nights IMHO.There is without a doubt a balance to be struck between quantity and quality on such an occasion - having 120+ 'cars' in the pits might get a select number of people salivating all over their notebooks (having noticed 'cars' as the turnout obsessives' term of choice since way back, by the way, as if the drivers, teams, families are invisible...?!) It is very unlikely however to enhance the overall show, compared that is to a slightly more streamlined approach, but one which would hopefully provide a quite substantial opportunity for, still a hell of a lot of F1 drivers both UK and overseas, to get their chance to shine under those bright September lights.Something along the lines of....96 drivers to raceCSF (Heat 1) Top 2 to WF, 3rd-5th to Grand Final (24 -2)Heat 2 - Top 5 to Grand Final (20)WF (Heat 3) - 2nd-13th to Grand Final (32 +2)Heat 4 - Top 5 to Grand Final (20)Cons 1 - Top 3 to Grand Final, 4th-15th to B-FinalCons 2 - Top 3 to Grand Final, 4th-15th to B-FinalB-Final - 24 drivers - Winner to Grand FinalGrand Final - 32 driversNot sure on exactly how big WF grid is due to be so give or take a couple! And no idea if you can get anywhere near 96 in space-wise by the way, so if not, well, the anti-GN sentiment still applies whatever...!Obviously could go on and on about times when F1 WF-night format has been diversified in the past (Cov 2004 sticks out for example), but overall this is just my take on what type of format I think could work. I don't consider it a night to be hamstrung by the week-in-week-out format (GN's case in point) but also don't think it needs to be chopped and changed beyond recognition. It's a means to and end after all eh (whittling down a big pool down to a smaller one, in the same way so many other sports do) - but an oft-overlooked factor I suspect, in terms of avoiding that awful fizzle-out feel that, I must say, I have felt all too often on World Final nights (and days) down the years.I realise that is probably far and above anything you were wanting in terms of feedback - and that this topic, of ideal World Final formats and such, gets discussed so very often on the forum. There we go anyway, for what it's worth, the question and discussion lit the relevant part of my brain up, so that's just my bit for now!
Spot on Nealius.

Absolute no brainer Paul, Saloons all the way.
Dutch and F2 maybe Friday night. Loonz and maybe 55-60 F1 on the Saturday.
No need for massive f1 numbers
Come on Peter, we can do better than 60 F1 on World Final night. It’s the night all drivers want to race on and with three shale meetings that weekend the Dutch will be there in great numbers. Make it F1 unrestricted bookings - 120+ cars,
Loons are great but the pit space will be the limit unless F1 bookings are capped, then a lot of drivers will lose out. The pit behind the first bend will probably be taken up with a temporary stand?
If you can do it go to Cowdie for the loons WF. Awesome last time and beats going to Venray to watch the hot rods any day in my book.

Difficult one.
I love the loons and Kings Lynn and they are usually more action packed than the F1.
If there are going to be cc 60 dutch cars you will have around 120-130 cars total. To add Loons to that would be difficult space wise and it would make the meeting to long.
Loons with overseas Friday. F1 only Saturday would be my choice simply due to time issues.

Normal service may be resumed when they have some World Final tickets to sell in a few years.......

Good luck Liam on your debut.
Tremedous surge of ex mini stock drivers at the moment and still more to come.
Looking forward to seeing Mr Guinchard next season....

Well done to Peter for taking the leap across the fence having never previously driven in any other formula.
Peter lives about 5 mile from me so lots of travelling to do to get to meetings. Good idea to keep the car with Murray as it will be in tip top condition when he races. I will keep an eye on him at Kings Lynn and wish him all the best.

Even if he has a stinker of a meeting he will get the biggest cheer.
Welcome back Lundy!

If it wasn’t for Ricky no one would have a clue what the shootout points stood at during most of the rounds.
Keep it up Ricky.

John Dowson will race the Hunter tarmac car, his dad told me at Kings Lynn
Great news. I suspected it but nice to have it confirmed.
With that car under him I think a top 5 position could be possible
Come on John!

Give it to the driver who finishes the race and resides closest to Aycliffe.
Used to love the place but that DJ they had on was a bit of a character.......
