  1. We have 40 plus formula ones and a similar number of formula 2 at a track which struggled to raise over 25 cars a few years ago. Surely that's something to be pleased about. If the promoter had capped all formula to 30 cars he would be slagged on here.

I'm not defending the promoter but Sheffield has small pits. Stock Cars aren't allowed to use the public highway to unload/repair so there has to be a limit. You can't fit 110 cars into a pit space barely big enough for 80. Simples.

We all have a choice. Either go and watch or stop at home.

I'm not a particular fan of Sheffield but I will be there as its my closest track and it's a good turnout.

  2. if it's a BriSCA hour it's 2 hours and 19 minutes.

not sure about you but i think that bennett bloke had too much to say.

    cheers,

    beaks

Yeh.....who was that Bennett bloke?. Seemed to think he knew all about F1. Perhaps he is on beaks net?
  3. Caught the last hour or so of the show last night. Well worth a listen with Jonny and Captain beaks chewing the fat.

Particularly enjoyed the driver interview after the shootout final

Might be a bit long a programme to stick to F1 but the problem is if you mix formula it competes with other programmes. perhaps an hour long?.

Would be nice to hear from some of the promoters over the winter about their plans for 2016.

When is the next one Jonny?

  4. Thanks Jane and Nic for the results ,much appreciated although I did have an insider sending me the results direct from Buxton just in case you or Nic were taken down by the BRISCA branch of MI5 .

Thanks Nic and Jane for the results today.

It's OK Ozzy, as long as you don't publish the results for others to see you are OK.

Looks like I picked the right meeting to go to this weekend. On the positive side and with the benefit of stoxnet I have managed to save £50 in diesel, £18 entrance £5 burger and £5 car wash as I did it myself between the gaps..........Pretty boring afternoon though. Think I might be back next weekend.

  5. The fire went out as the yellows came out. It had been burning at least two laps before the yellows came out. There was a Marshall stood looking at the fire who didn't even put the yellow caution flag up.

    Agree with you Rod.

  6. 390 and 467 since we published the list have cancelled the booking.

For the record all those that have already started on social media that the list is false because they knew these two drivers were not racing well we did not until we were told. It reinforces why we don't publish lists because all it does its bring out the negatives.

I think the vast majority of us are grateful for you posting the list Jeremy. Gossip and conspiracy merchants on face ache can be ignored as you will never please everyone. Looking forward to the weekend. Lots of cars including Dutch visitors and weather forecast good. No doubt people will complain they got dust in their ice cream..............

  7. Thanks for posting Jeremy.

Great turnout. Far more for the Friday night than I expected.

For those of us from 'up north', how busy does the M1/M69 get on a Friday evening? can anyone local to Coventry advise?

Need to time my early exit from work on Friday.
