  3. World Final revenge at it's best - BriSCA F1's day after the night before! Scores will be settled, and this could be your first chance to see the new World Champion take to the track. We are also going to be joined by an influx of overseas drivers to make this a fantastic day at the historic Brafield-on-the-Green venue. Start time - 12 noon. No other details as yet.   4. The BriSCA big league are back! A couple of months break and the best of BriSCA will be full throttle around the Adrian Flux Arena; a few more weeks to go - we can't wait! A significant night for the BriSCA F1’s in the final outing at the track before the World Final event a few weeks later on 14th September. A last chance showdown for those not qualified for the big race, with the Consolation Semi Final - where only the top two will progress and for those already in the World Final – the last chance to perfect the all important setups. The excellent F2 Stock Cars and the brilliant Ministox also on the line up. Superb Stock Car action, start to finish. F1 plus F2 and Saloons The place to be for the biggest stock car weekend of the year: the three main stock car formulas all at one place for two days of non-stop racing. BriSCA F2 Stock Cars - around 90 F2s will be here to qualify for the UK Championship, the current holder is Gordon Moodie. There will be cars racing from all parts of the UK, plus Drivers from Northern Ireland & mainland Europe. With all of the top driver in this formula at Skeggy, it's no mean feat to win the coveted UK trophy. Qualifying for the UK takes place on Saturday night with points scored carried forward to Sunday, and drivers from the two Consolations on Sunday making up the 36 car UK Championship grid. The 2L Saloon Stock Cars, who often steal the show where ever they race, will be joined by drivers from Scotland, Northern Ireland and for the first time for several years, visitors from mainland Europe are entered to race. The Saloons race in the heats on Saturday night with the top 24 points scorers going forward to Sunday's UK Championship. A last chance race on Sunday makes up the 32 car grid. The current UK Champion is Max Stott. BriSCA F1 Stock Cars are the third formula of this weekend. With around 48 cars racing it's going to be good hard fast racing. The now traditional Teng Tools World Champions Challenge will commence at 3pm on the Saturday with a meet and greet session for F1 World Champion Stuart Smith, F2 World Champ Gordon Moodie and of course your Saloon Gold Top Max Stott. However, the situation with Stuart's retirement from racing means at this stage we cannot confirm the details regarding the time trials as yet, but we do have a couple of options and a time trial will go ahead in a F1, a F2 and a Saloon and will involve both Gordon and Max.   13. Staffordshire's infamous Hednesford Hills Raceway hosts its BIGGEST BriSCA F1 event in recent times as we proudly present the great BriSCA F1 STOCK CAR BRITISH DRIVERS CHAMPIONSHIP! A HUGE day of racing is planned as the Big League head to the Hills for the first time this season with not only one title up for grabs, but 3 Black and White Checked roofs featuring:- BriSCA F1 Stock Cars - British Championship BriSCA V8 Stock Cars - British Championship(& World Qualifier) National Ministox - British Championship(& National Championship Qualifier) More information to follow, be sure to like and share the event. It is shaping up to be a fantastic day of racing and plans are currently being put in place to ensure this is a day to remember.
  14. F1 World Qualifying Round plus V8 Hotstox and Ministox. First race 1pm A quality line of racing formulas are on offer at Buxton Raceway on 9th June, the BriSCA F1s are with us for the first time in 2019 and they are racing to score double points on a World Championship Qualifying round, the meeting final will be the Al Henderson Cup, a good turnout of drivers is expected including all the sports top names, an early booking list will be posted here on Tuesday evening so please come back soon to check it out. In support are the V8 Hotstox and the National Ministox which complete an all action afternoon of Stockcar racing. Visitors returning to Buxton Raceway since the last BriSCA F1 event will see that we have made more improvements to the terracing areas in particular round between the bar and pit gate, we now have a track shop in operation where you can buy racing merchandise and sweets etc, there will of course be food outlets and bar available, trackside parking is available on a first come first served basis so get there early if you wish to take advantage of that as the day is likely to be very busy. Those of you who are members of the VSCA there is a marquee for the annual get together.

  17. The Stoxnet voted Track of the Year four times consecutive will be back with action in less than 4 weeks! It’s a BriSCA double of F1 and F2 Stock Cars on the line up. The BriSCA F1 Stock Cars will race in Round 3 of the Teng Tools Track championship and Round 4 of the BOSS Supporters Championship. BOSS is the last remaining Stock Car Supporters club; more information can be found in their Facebook Group here; for the BriSCA F2’s it’s Round 4 of the World of Shale Qualification. A welcome back to the big league of F1 Stock Cars with visitors from Holland booked in its all adding up to be a fantastic two days. Saturday night is a WCQF for the Brisca F1’s and Sunday the UK Open Championship and is in its 30th year the current holder 126 Harry Steward who was only 17yrs old when he won it last year. Harry is on form at Skegness after winning the final at the recent Good Friday event. The races on Sunday qualify for the UK Open Championship which will be run in graded order. The UK is sponsored by “The Kaleta Family” long standing members of the Skeggy officials team Eddie, Helen, and Richard. There will be a special programme feature with the History of the UK Open Championship. Where was the first one held and who won? Mini Stox are back again after a successful Easter meeting and the UK Open Championship trophy will be awarded to the winner of the main event on Sunday. Brisca F2’s stock cars are here also for their first Speedweekend at Skeggy, with numbers up this year at recent events, we are looking forward to a good turnout at this first Speedweekend. Note. Large quantities of food and drink are not allowed to be brought in to the Stadium arena. You may enter the Stadium with a small amount of food and non- alcoholic beverage suitable for one person’s consumption ie. Sandwich, packet of crisps and bottle of soft drink. We will not allow cooler boxes, holdalls, shopping bags, backpacks etc. filled with refreshments. Nor will we allow trays, packs crates etc. of soft drinks. STRICTLY NO ALCOHOL or GLASS. Alcohol will be confiscated. If you have specific dietary requirements for health reasons, please bring a confirmation letter with you from your GP. Our new Panorama Raceview Bar will be open for business, with either heating or air con whichever might be required !!!! , it is now also fitted with PA speakers. With a late bar & DJ on as usual to party the night away. Drivers are reminded that they & their free admission have to go the new pit office to sign in & for issue of wristbands, (They must go with the driver to be eligible). All other persons to pay at the turnstiles. Car parking for this event in in the usual car parks. Camping, caravans, motorhomes are only allowed to stay over on Saturday night and this is all through the back gate into the farmers field, £20 per unit, sorry but there is no camping, caravan’s or motorhomes allowed to stay on the carpark overnight. All spectators from the camping area then go to the turnstile to pay for general admission wristband for the two day events.

  24. The now traditional Good Friday meeting at Skegness. Friday 19th April 6.00pm (note early start time than last year) Good Friday race meeting at Skegness Stadium, with a 6-00pm start time. On the bill are Brisca F1 & F2 and National Mini Stox & special feature National Hot Rods. Joining our commentary team for Good Friday is David Addison from ITV4 and the British Touring Cars. The return of the National Hot Rods to Skegness Raceway, it is 8 years (2011) since Whistling Jack Smith was played over the pa here at Skeggy for the rolling lap music. We welcome the formula back to the track that the drivers really love to race at, often four abreast as they race at tremendous speed around this superb circuit. What could be better than seeing these specialised & highly tuned cars, the fastest formula on the ovals under the lights here at Skeggy. Around 30 cars are expected with World Champion Billy Wood and recently crowded European Champion Jason Kew. The Brisca F1 Stock Cars return for another full season of racing, considered by some to be the pinnacle of contact racing, purpose built, open wheeled single seaters built for contact. Big Cars, big noise, big trills & spills. This meeting is also the first tarmac meeting of the season with many new cars on track. Also back again for their regular Good Friday slot are the Brisca F2 stock cars. Early booking include from Scotland World & National Points Champion Gordon Moodie and Dennis Middler. Southwest Superstar Matt Stoneman and localish Andrew Palmer who plans on doing the Good Friday Double. First time out in 2019 at Skeggy for the National Mini Stox, dont be fooled by the age of these drivers, ( 11yrs to 16yrs) plenty of action & bumper work. Lots of new faces in the Mini Stox & trophies supplied by Stockcar Journal. Skegness Raceway boast fantastic facilities. Our new superbly appointed heated Panorama Raceview Bar is open for business, and all the family are welcome to come in and watch the racing from here, the view of the track is tremendous. With Easter here, we can never tell what the weather will be, if necessary the heating will be on & you can watch the racing from behind the large glass windows and not miss any of the action. Wheel chair access is available. Plenty of room in the bar for lots of people to watch the racing in comfort. We also have a large undercover Grandstand if you prefer to watch from outside, all around the arena is raised terracing so plenty of unhindered viewing. Lots of catering units and bars ready to serve you plus a couple of trackshops for all your sweets, drinks and mementos. Large free carpark adjacent to the stadium Disabled parking is next to the turnstile. Trackside parking is no longer available Note. Large quantities of food and drink are not allowed to be brought in to the Stadium arena. You may enter the Stadium with a small amount of food and non- alcoholic beverage suitable for one persons consumption ie. Sandwich, packet of crisps and bottle of soft drink. We are trying to be fair, so please dont abuse it !!! We race in all weather conditions, and have a large covered grandstand, for viewing from with plenty of room for standing under. We also have Bars, catering, toilets, disabled toilets and baby changing facilities. Well behaved dogs on leads are allowed to be brought into the venue. No tents, shelters, gazebos, marquees, pop up tents or similar are allowed inside the Stadium Arena.
