Hello all.
I have an amount of free tickets for the ‘World Series by Renault’ weekend at Silverstone on the 4th and 5th of July. The tickets are valid for both days, and also give you access to the paddock.
Why not go along on Saturday, and then head up to Coventry in the evening? Kids can go along for free, as long as they are with a valid ticket holder.
Further information can be found by clicking on the link below – then click on the ‘programme’ button on the bottom of the page.
If you’d like to go, send me a message through the forum and I’ll post them to you. Alternatively, I can bring some along to Ipswich on the 20th of this month.
Cheers,
Beaks

Mine just arrived. Absolutely superb! Money well spent. Nice one Colin. Just need to stash it somewhere now before the elves come round and send it off to Father Christmas.
I'm comparing and contrasting it with my newly purchased Stock Car Monthly mag, September 1975 edition.
haha nah the 75 mag was overpriced...

you know, sometimes 'people' never cease to amaze me...
moaning about an increase of £2 is a joke...
as colin C and jezza H have done their best to explain, things, believe it or not cost a lot more than they did a few years ago...
jezza and his merry men at Cov are running a business and not a charity, i think some people forget that sometimes...
for sure, Cov isn't my favourite stock car track, but i'd be gutted to lose it... let's not kid ourselves gang if these places don't make decent money they'll close... and we'll all be on here in 10 years time boring eachother to death about the good old days and it's never been the same since we lost Cov etc etc... and how it's not fair that every stock car race is now in east anglia etc etc...
anyway, i digress...
look y'all, for sure i understand that with a family it doesn't help the old wallet much, but that's life... and it is the times we live in... my gas bill is more expensive than it was a few years ago... should i stop having gas...
i went to the cinema last saturday (couldn't afford burgers at KL) - it was £8 each and once you've bought popcorn, watered down coke and some m+m's to throw at the locals that's near on £30 for 2 people...
stock car racing is very, very good value for money - if someone can tell me where you can be entertained as much as you do at stock cars for less than £20 please do let me know... (and i'm not interested in a nasty russian at kings cross station)...
thanks, now back to my lunch!!
oh
damn
i've just bought a sandwich from the company canteen... if i'd have made my own i could have saved 45p...
etc etc

ok folks, this lot is for sale or swap - all magazines a pound each, add 50p for delivery... obviously if you buy loads i'll tune the postage to suit...
These are the 'stock car magazine' type, not 'stock car supporter' - the wf progs are, of course from the track...

Hi gang,
Well, sad man that i am, i have been trying to collect every stock car magazine, annual, wf special, wf programme etc since i was created by the big man...
To cut a long story short, i've got loads of doubles, spares etc where i've scooped up job lots on ebay and the like...
In my quest to complete my collection, i've got loads that i'd like to swop with mags that i haven't got... or sell them off (at a later date)
So, i'll list what i've got spares of...
These are the 'stock car magazine' type, not 'stock car supporter' - the wf progs are, of course from the track...
1973 - April and May
1975 - August, September and the WF Special (2 of each)
1976 - November
1980 - June, September x 2, November, and WF Prog
1981 - April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, Winter Issue
1982 - October
1983 - June, August, September, October, November, Winter Issue
1984 - March, June, July, August, September, October, November, Winter Issue
1985 - March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, Winter Issue, WF Special, WF Prog x 3
1986 - April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, WF Special
1987 - March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November
1988 - March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, Winter Issue, WF Special, WF Prog
1989 - March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, Winter Issue, WF Special
1990 - March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, WF Special, WF Prog x2
1991 - March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December, WF Prog
1992 - March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, WF Special, WF Prog
1993 - September
I've added an excel sheet of how my collection stands at the minute... so you can see if you've any you'd like to swap...
So, basically i'd rather swop rather than sell... i'll give it a week or two, then i guess i'll sell the rest... however if there's one you really want to complete your collection i'll be happy to let it go...
Get in touch, i'm getting bored of buying stuff off of ebay...!!!
