  7. Today marks 65 years since the first Stock Car event at King’s Lynn – a special, limited production, commemorative metal pin badge has been produced to mark the occasion of racing at Saddlebow Road since 1955. How good does it look too! Available to purchase tomorrow at the turn 1 trackshop trailer for just £5!
  8. 🏁 On this day 65 years ago 🏁 Stock Car racing came to King’s Lynn for the very first time – 11th September 1955 – the site of a Greyhound stadium and staging a handful of Speedway meetings prior to the arrival of four wheeled Motorsports. Fewer stadiums have undergone such a drastic transformation since the start than King’s Lynn, virtually un-recognisable today. Very little information or pictures exist from that first meeting, but Local Driver and former World Champion – Bob Reeve of Dereham took the Feature Final that day. The F1 Stock Cars race tomorrow in their 165th Official meeting at the track – will another local driver take the chequered in this Anniversary weekend? BriSCA F2's joining them in a big BriSCA Double Header Photos: First programme cover Bob Reeve's circa late 50’s/ early 60's. (credit unknown)

  19. ❗️Race fans attending Saturday night - important info - please read❗️ Racing might seem like a return to more normality, but it shouldn’t feel totally normal - there’s extra policies in place around the Arena to help keep the Venue “Good To Go” in combatting Covid19. There’s no secret about it – without these rules and policies in place we simply cannot open. So please; help us to stay open and follow these around the Raceway. As this Saturday see’s the first BriSCA meeting and generally a different fan base to our first meetings, it seems right to remind those attending the raceway of measures in place at the Stadium: This event is advance ticket only, please bring your confirmation email with you, this doubles up as your e-ticket. This is the email you received from us after placing your order. If you haven’t received this, please contact us by 5pm Friday 21st. No ticket, no entry and there are no on the day sales. Upon arrival, please wait in your car until the gates open and are instructed to make your way into the raceway. The gates open at 3:30pm. Please ensure this is worn when you leave your vehicle. Please maintain Social Distancing at all times around the Arena. Wash and sanitise hands regularly. Hand sanitising stations are provided, please use them. Follow the one way systems in place. The Grandstand is open as usual, however will be at a significantly reduced capacity. Seats are first come, first served. Pay on the day with the attendant as usual. There is no pass out card system operating at the moment, if you wish to go back to your car, you must leave your name with the staff on the gate. There will be someone there all evening. Regrettably, these is no pit access and spectators are restricted to the homestraight, Grandstand, turns one, two and four (Stock Car direction). Sadly trophy presentations will need to be kept lowkey, and unfortunately we are unable to have post race interviews or lap of honours on the Trackstar car, drivers will be asked to take a lap of honour, driving themselves around. Toilets will periodically be closed for cleaning/ sanitising. We appreciate your patience whilst this is carried out. When leaving the raceway, there will be two exits- the main exit as normal and an additional exit the other side of the Undercover Stand/ Race Control & VIP building. Camper Vans can stay in the main car park overnight as usual (F1 meetings only) there are no additional facilities available. Your co-operation is very much appreciated please, failure to comply could result in you being asked to leave the stadium. Thank you; we look forward to seeing you on Saturday.
