Thanks so much
Just an observation - Joff says he's only doing shale, but on the back of the car it says "Follow me to Skegness Raceway"

Great Stuff
Am so looking forward to seeing all these new cars on track, that we're being teased with

It looks very much like a Stuart Smith car . I expect the similarities end with appearances.
Jake & Nigel, thanks for taking the time out to give us the updates .

Fantastic - Down to earth honest interview. Loved it.
"Hair by Robert, Nuneaton's Premier Blue Rinse Salon"
That is just brilliant Chris Can't wait to see it in battle0 -
Bring it on
I remember his Final win at Coventry in 2015.
You could see / hear how emotional he was and how much it meant to him.

Terrific work in organising and producing these Awards, and Well Done to all the Winners

Cheers Carl ( & Giant ! ), that's amazing
You have to feel sorry for Peter Falding, being one short of the Ton.

If only i could recollect how many of Smithy's 500 Final wins i witnessed. Must have seen around half for sure.
I was there for his Testimonial meeting (which he didn't win), and at his 500th win in '87.
With 6 World Final wins, i think it could be rounded up to 506 Final wins ..................... maybeJust how many drivers have won 100 or more meeting Finals ?

Not quite Rod, you've missed a word out. I said "If The Chase has come to a premature end..."
Looks like it hasn't come to a premature end, but the finale has been postponed.
I missed out quite a bit of your post Carl.
In this instance it was because i assumed the "if" part of your post, was now fact. That the Series could not have a Finale.
I look forward to the announcement as to what happens next.
I apologise to all the ones i've apparently kicked whilst they're down .
I mistakenly thought this was the forum for expressing member's opinions on Brisca F1 matters.0 -

I mean if we had run the season as normal this year and then had a lock down before the WF do we then award it to whoever won the toss of the coin at the Semi Final? The World Final is an annual event that is the most important date on the Brisca F1 calendar. it has been since before most people's time on this forum.
This 2020 event was planned as a fun event, for one year only (2021 could well have to be it's 2nd ) and to raise funds
No comparison between the two Titles.
A winner should be announced (imo) - just for fun, as was the intention of the Series.
There might not be any racing next year. What then , run the 2020 Championship final in 2022 ?
As Carl asks " The Chase has come to a premature end then the winner must be whoever was leading at the time? "

So the winner of the Gold is the one who scored the most qualifying points?
Same analogy Rod.Fact is the series was/is for fun and the roof a tribute piece to the NHS and frontline workers
I believe 515 topped the table after the last meeting
For me, he is therefore the winner of the Series
To hold the one off race next year would defeat the object of the Series (racing wise)
and cheers Andrew K, your assumption was correct0 -
Well, Opinion on the table .................
For me, the winner of this mini Title , should always have been the winner of the points table after the last meeting
The one off race idea was poor, just like the gifting backmarkers a lap nonsense.
Whoever is the official leader at this point, should be handed the title and roof colours that go with it0 -

180 was never a full time driver. Courtney was having occasional outings in a borrowed car thanks to some friendly sponsors.
I would imagine that having had 5 years of the family concentrating on her racing during her ministox career she is now sitting back while her brother gets the same family support.
Cheers Dave - Makes sense
Courtney always went well at Skeggy. Would have been nice to see her up against Phoebe, Catherine & Hannah
and against the boys of course ...................0 -

Don't think it is her first meeting. Didn't she race at the Birmingham Gala meeting last year in the under 25's race?
Yes Catherine did appear in that under 25's race
This meeting will be her first chance to score points in the Championship, though sadly not the National Points one !
Has 180 retired then ?

Wonder what car 8 Harris is using 🤔
I thought exactly the same, as soon as i saw the list.
Thought Catherine's first meeting might have been used a bit more on the publicity side of things0 -
Many thanks Team

Sorry for any errors tonight. I would advise to check mylaps incase I made a few mistakes.
Well done Ben for stepping in. I was there and know how difficult it is to get every single position down on paper.
Sometimes, results are read out whilst other cars are lining up etc etc . Baffled as to what Alan 999 refers to as prefering 'Pure Team'9 hours ago, Chris53 said:Many thanks Ben for stepping forward and to Nic for joining up the dots - much appreciated.
Agreed - Muchas Gracias Ben & Nic
