  1. Yes, jump on a yellow tram for Middlewood and get off at Hillsborough.
  2. A few people have been in touch asking about their order... Pre-ordered books will be posted in a week or so and should arrive a few days before the publication date.
  3. Also worth noting the special offer - anybody who buys FWJ can get My Time, Keep Turning Left, Kings of the Oval and F1stockcars.com Season Review for £5 each.
  4. Yes, on Kindle and via iBooks and Kobo and other ebook platforms. And it will also be available for international posting (another common question!)
  5. Ordered mine late on Tuesday and arrived today. Can't fault the service!
  6. Semi-final preview on F1stockcars.com And yes, I know that Geoff Nicholls isn't the second reserve...
  7. Just a quick heads up that it's the Sheffield Half Marathon on Sunday too. Shouldn't cause a problem in terms of road closures unless you're coming into Sheffield from the Peak District, although traffic might be a bit busier for anybody coming from the south and getting off at J33. It's not the same race as the one which runs right in front of Owlerton and caused a meeting to be put back a few years ago. A map of the route and road closures is at http://www.runforall.com/half-marathon/yorkshire/
  8. New website alert! A whole new look at www.chequeredflagpublishing.co.uk Any feedback gratefully received!
  9. Only saw the F1 races so can't comment on the support acts. But the F1s were, on the whole, pretty decent. The highlight for me was watching Rob Speak and John Lund match each other push for push in their heat. But there were some good drivers from white top right through to flashing amber lights: Stuart Smith, Martin Spiers, Steve Harrison, Karl Roberts... R/R: 7/10 DotD: 84 Tom Harris
  10. There's a little competition running on the Chequered Flag Publishing Facebook page leading up to the Formula 2 World Final. Have a looksie at https://www.facebook.com/cheqflagpub
  11. Stock car racing drivers tend to get a bit bored during the winter break. That's why Rob Speak arranged a special race against four of his buddies from KEEP TURNING LEFT - Gordon Moodie, Barry Goldin, Micky Brennan and George MacMillan Junior. Who will win the Chequered Flag Publishing Christmas Championship? Click here to find out... and Merry Christmas from all at Chequered Flag Publishing, including the stars of KEEP TURNING LEFT!
  12. As e-readers continue to gain popularity, we've made ebook versions of Keep Turning Left available for sale via the Amazon and Kobo bookstores. Now it's easier than ever to read about Gordon Moodie while you're on the move or Chris Bradbury while you're at the beach! And don't forget that a proportion of the cover price from every copy sold goes to help the BriSCA F2 Benevolent Fund, and every little helps!
  13. Paul Harrison gave us his reaction to earning World Championship semi-final pole position. Read his thoughts on the Chequered Flag Facebook page.
  14. Our Keep Calm and Turn Left t-shirts have won a few fans at the tracks, so we're making them available online exclusively via the Chequered Flag website. As with our books, we're offering free UK delivery. Click here to get your own and show your support for stock car racing wherever you go this summer! http://www.chequeredflagpublishing.co.uk/tshirt.htm
