No starter, as its on the car, and no engine plate, as that will stay with the car. Won last time out, so were parting on good terms!

I want £7,500 for the engine, rebuilt at a cost of £4000 last winter, and due to ring wear causing a little smoke i had it stripped and done again 2 meetings ago and spent another £2000 on it.
2 world finals, both Smith bros have won a WF with this engine!
A bit cheap, but i want o move it on as i want a small block for next year, so priced it to sell.

As i didn't race last week, i had a tidy up, and found loads of stuff i don't use.
Some tyres, gears, calipers, steering wheels, diffs, master cylinders, pads, disks, pulleys etc, even a broken msd box.
Everything £20 each.

I was watching, and when the flames started coming up the side of his car i grabbed a extinguisher and started to run over to him, the 2 fire marshals followed me, and the race went waved yellows, just as the car fired up, and the flames stopped, maybe the steward had seen us heading towards the car and decided it was safer to stop the race.

End of the season, i want to get my scales calibrated, anyone know who does repairs - calibration in England?
Ive been onto the Longacre website and there UK dealer is Demon Tweeks, but i have spoken to them and they just want to send them back to USA.

My current Mini. FWJ built car, all stripped and re built by FWJ for the start of the 2014 season.
Good, fast, strong and reliable car, all the right bits. Complete car ready to race, jump in a go.
Inc... Fibre glass shell and bonnet, Witworth engine (new head half way through season), new ish brake pads, front and back,
Perfect for any size person as had the cab raise in the winter.
Spares, have box of spare to go with it inc, carb, fuel pump, ball bearings, steering rack, Dizzy and coil, got shed load of wheels which need to go, all can go all the right wheels, alloy and steel.
Goes for nothing, ex gold and silver top car raced by FWJJ from new and raced for 4 years , 5 year old car, won numerous amounts of races and finals. Got me from white to blue in month and half. Mint car and engine just needs a good new home.
Less transponder and seat.£4000

Oggghh, i got excited there, i saw 'Tarmac car for sale', and clicked on it, then saw it was my own, lol.
You cant do a 'cheap' rebuild, its got too be right. I have blown 4 engines in 4 years, so i know only too well!
I dont think Matt is fully booked, and i dont think gets gets quite £600, but its not what i want to do anyway. Some people make money from Stock-cars, i don't want to, I have my own job, and have enough on my plate.
I am thinking off cutting down my own workload, and spending, and with new rules coming into force i am considering sticking to one car and one surface.
I have whipped the sump off to have a look, and its not pretty!

OK, sold half the spares, the rest can go for a tenner at Cov, what doesn't sell will go in the scrap pile. (there 2 new starters in there!)
Engine now £6750, or PX for a V8 or a small block, may consider complete F1 with a small block.
