    84 217 16 4 20 313 152 101 211 463 526 346 415 124

    and today

    84, 217, 16, 4, 20, 313, 152, 101, 346, 211, 463, 526

Its 463 and 346 that have been swapping over, you would have to watch the video

I watched the race, The top 4 were dead cert. Liam was steady all race, Tristan was there all race, as was 313, lucky when 211 and 346 tangled to get by. and Ashley and Phoebe tangled with 2 to go, but i don't remember who passed them, i would need to see a vidio.

The last waved yellows at lap 11 James was behind Tom, and was gesturing at the ref, but the announcer stated he was behind Tom, and was a lap down. 152 was going well, and i stood with Sarge, who thought Finn was a lap down, Kyle was also a lap down.

I thought the transponders counted the laps they had done, so i thought that was the bible, but maybe you need to see a video, i don't know, but i would be disappointed (and James will be) if the transponder had me in the top 10 and it was overruled!

I won at Northampton last year in the mud, the transponder had me as winning, the video it was clear i won, but i got awarded 4th!

  2. I will go out in heat 1 Col, and ill do the semi if i get the chance.

In fact the first semi i did was Kings Lynn, and the first race that night was a whites and yellows race, and i did that first, then the semi, lol. I remember Scott Davids telling me i was mad, as i could have damaged the car.

I was 7th for ages in the semi and lost a bottom hose on waved yellows, so close that year.

  3. Thanks all.

Well the cars are ready, and i've just got back from dropping the truck off at Mark Grays for another new clutch. (supplier has admitted he supplied the wrong one, Great!)

So, all depends weather we get it back in time, i have told Sophie my predicament, and by the way, thanks for the offers of loans of other trucks, very kind, thankyou. So, were 50/50 again.

One more question, as a reserve, does that get me into the consi at Kings Lynn?

  4. Yea, what an awful year were having, and to make it worse, it's still costing me the same amount of money!

2 engines gone, both rebuilt, and a new clutch on the lorry a month ago.

Spoken to the supplier today, who said send it back and if its faulty well do a refund, Great, its not as easy as that, i have to get the 'dead' truck back to the fitters now, and get the clutch out, so that's another weekend we've missed.

  5. Cheers for the various pieces of information.

And now we're all invited to Nigel's barbie on Saturday night ! :bigthumb:

Haven't studied the driver's list too closely, but a noticeable absentee is Nigel Green. Odd seeing as it's practically his local.

Latest update shows 60 now booked in.

Don't hold your breath on the BBQ Rod, we cant get the lorry clutch working. Just got home from working on it for 2 hours with the help of Mark Gray, and getting there now is looking thin. I really needed to be loading tomorrow night, and have the lorry home by Friday night to load bedding, food etc to be away Saturday morning at 10,30.

Not looking good right now!

  6.

The social side doesn't have to be about drinking a lot of alcohol, Some people want to fire up the barbie and sit around talking racing, having a bite to eat and a beer. That would be fine for me, but I don't want to be eating at midnight!!

Again, there has been a lot said about how things feel different in Holland in the pits, If you look at how they do it there, most teams have food on the go all day long, feeding the team and sponsors. share a beer or two after the meeting and talk racing.

In an ideal world, this would be wonderful . Awesome even. It certainly works for the drivers.

At Skeggy, i saw barbeques at the side of transporters. Cardboard cartons in the bins, that had held multi packs of Beers (wish i'd taken pics)

So where is the punter's barbeque, the paying public's right to enjoy a few social Beers and talk racing ? It certainly couldn't happen at Skegness. Folk spend an age queueing for food and drink.

Can Joe Public take barbeques into Texel ?

Well i am bringing a giant catering BBQ, so anyone is welcome to come and join us right after the GN. Bring your own food and beer, and your all most welcome.

I have spoken to my Dutch mate today, who wants to know the MSD rule, So i checked with our secretary the rule.

So ill tell anyone thinking of coming over. If you run a small block, with out 6CT, you will get a pink ticket so you have to have a 6CT MSD next time.

Of course some will save that till world final weekend, and they can race without having to buy one.

See you there. Let's go racin!

    :bigthumb:

  7. lots of reasons.

Bad start, 1st meeting last year was dusty, then we had the mud, then Stuart got hurt, so the first year was a poor start, and drivers heard and wasn't going to bother.

I spoke to Chris Cowley who didn't go last year, and told him how good it was 2 weeks ago, and he's booked i. Mind, he wants to get in the shootout, so want points too.

That is the other reason, points, first month drivers want to score, now were all settled, its not such a rush to get points, the first month can push you up the grades.

And it's not a world qualifier, lots will turn up if it was, another 15 at least if it was wq.(41 booked last months wq,)

and it was only 2 weeks ago.

Next one is end of July, and is the european, and is a weekender, so will be better i am sure, the track was fantastic 2 weeks ago.

I have no engines still, so not racing again, but will be there with Jake.
