  1. Thanks for the ticket's,

While not my thing it was good to see Silverstone on the Sunday. And it only reinforced my belief = If you want to to see real Motorsort then get you @rse to a BriSCA F1 meeting!

We might very well have our own problems and issues with BriSCA - BSCDA - BMB, But at least we ain't a soulless corporate media slut train!

Enjoy yourself it's later than you think!

We went also as guests of Renault and I would echo Steves thoughts. OK once a year but that's about it and Coventry made the trip worthwhile. Great to put a face to the name Beaks, thanks for the guided tour on Sat and YES Cov was superb!!!

  6. Firstly, thanks to the stoxnet team for the support and use of their forum for the following post.

This time last year I paid 95.9p per litre when I topped up with fuel for my first meeting of the year, now it’s a whopping 107.9p. That’s a 12.5 % increase. Ouch.

Once again this year, the CAR SHARE scheme is available on allstox, to be found here.. http://allstoxforum.niceboard.com/car-share-f5/ . There are simple instructions to be followed at the top of the page. It does not matter what formula you follow, its there for YOU.

Why travel alone when you could share the cost’s, and possibly, as I did through the scheme last year, form friendships ?.

Why sulk the week before a meeting you can't get to, when you could at least put a request for a lift on the forum, and possibly make it to what could always be ‘the meeting of the year’ ?

We will be pushing this scheme, now that people will really be feeling the fuel cost’s bite. It cost nothing to try this, but the benefits could be huge, both short and long term, for yourselves, the people you help and meet, the promoters and therefor, the good of the sport itself. Even if you don’t want to be part of allstox site, that’s fine by us, but if everyone got into the habit of taking a quick look at the car share section in the week before a meeting, it could only possibly benefit everyone in the long run. It can though only be as good and successful as we think it can be, with the willingness of YOU the fans to see it work.

We will be forwarding a release to all BriSCA promotors urging them to support the scheme in their programme’s.

    Rgds

    Ped and Jane

Sort of used the car share system last year when Richard and I put a bus up for the last KL and it worked really well. Quite a few who went probably wouldn't have done if the bus didn't go so that's a  from us!!

I'l certainly keep an eye on the section in '08 as on occaisions we might have a space or 3 on the 278 truck avaialable. As Pete says any injection of cash into the deisel pot will be very welcome no matter how small.

Best of luck with your effort guys, great idea, well woth supporting and using wherever possible.
