Genuine question....do Dutch F1 drivers get start money?...and how does their prize money compare with a normal brisca schedule?

Absolute respect for you and your work Nick..Cancer has touched my family too..both of my sisters managed to beat it and I'm sure that is due to the support that the charity provides along with its work into research.

Frankie and his family don't do things by halve's ....Phoebe will be a great flag bearer around the raceways I'm sure.

Best of luck with your efforts Nick...Onwards and upwards!

I've said this before and I'll say it again now...the continuance of start money is holding the sport back..sorry but there's no doubt about it in my mind.

As for costs how about the driver with 14 wings in his workshop?..madness that every time a driver does the meetings and jumps a grade he is lumbered with a £300 + bill...far easier just to play the grades..a coloured roof is just another historical throwback to times long gone (see start money).

At the risk of derailing this thread.....I read all this about guff about diluting the sport when the hard fact is that on a prime bank holiday weekend when the only F1 fixture is at Belle Vue on Monday evening you,the BMB,have made the sport unviable to watch for a huge slice of southern and midland supporters....no saturday kings lynn?...or sunday brafield?....that sucks.

Address the costs.. primarily for the promoter ...bold steps are needed  here ..not wasting effort getting bogged down in a non-issue such as Texel.
