Please share – tonight is postponed to Sunday. Following a big overnight change in the weather forecast, Trackstar are reluctantly having to postpone today’s meeting featuring F1 Stock Cars, 2L Stock Cars and V8 Stock Cars to tomorrow (Sunday 22 October) at 1pm. Storm Barbet has been battering the country over the past 24 hours. King’s Lynn had 24 hours of rain. However the forecast was for a clear day today and there would have been no problem getting the track ready. The forecast has changed overnight to more rain throughout the day and at 8am the stadium had already suffered from a heavy shower. Several important “A” roads which were hoped to have reopened also remain closed. With a clear day forecast around the country tomorrow, the track team are confident about producing a decent racing surface and it is hoped travelling conditions will also be much better. Our thanks go to Autospeed and the BSCDA with their assistance in moving this fixture. Advance tickets will automatically be transferred to the rearranged meeting. Anyone with an advance ticket and is unable to make the rescheduled event should E Mail gr@norfolkarena.co.uk and this will be refunded. We’re sorry for the inconvenience, thank you for the support.

BriSCA F1 World – Thank you On behalf of Janet and myself I would like to thank everyone for making the BriSCA F1 World Championship Weekend the huge success it was. I cannot thank you all enough for the support you have shown us in making the weekend one to remember and it is humbling and appreciated all the kind comments which have come to us already. Thank you to all the staff from the track, admin, BSCDA, security, catering, maintenance, cleaners, medics, fire patrol, Spedeworth TV, Barry & Nicky who provided such and awesome sound and lighting package & Pains Fireworks who gave us a display to be proud of plus many others who behind the scenes have worked tirelessly to bring the show together. There are too many to name individually but I want you all to know that your efforts really are appreciated by us. I would like to thank the drivers for making the journey whether it was five minutes down the road or thousands of miles away from as far as America and New Zealand plus of course the drivers from The Netherlands who came ‘on mass’ with the added party vibe! The racing and atmosphere in the pit area across the weekend can be described in one word…Awesome! Whether as a driver you raced one day or all three, thank you for supporting the event including the National Saloon Stock Cars who added such action on Friday to the BriSCA F2’s who came to race for the World Masters and ended up racing against the monsoon weather. Again, thank you all. Finally, of course I cannot forget about all of the race fans who again I know many travelled long distances to join us. The atmosphere within the stadium was electric and you all kept the mood high despite the heat over Friday and Saturday but also for sticking with us on Sunday when the monsoon came to add a new challenge to the weekend. Speaking of the monsoon a separate thank you to everyone for staying on to keep racing and watching after we had got the flood water away. Mother nature did her best this weekend to keep giving challenges but thanks to the staff team, drivers stamina and race fans sticking it out we managed to get more racing done and again finish the final day on a high. So, that’s it! We’ve done it and I hope you all enjoyed your time with us and once more I’d like to finish with the words THANK YOU! Deane Wood Spedeworth/Incarace
