  1. Deal agreed today to sell all the programmes as one lot, so please consider those now sold. Thanks to those who have enquired. Other items still available - can deliver to World Final meeting...
  2. Bump! Now prepared to split, and open to sensible offers by PM for any part of the collection. Will take anything left to the StockMarket at the end of the season. Thanks for looking.
  3. Due to a creaking loft I have decided to sell the majority of my F1 stock car collection apart from my photographs. Before I advertise items separately I would be interested in hearing from any collectors who would be interested in purchasing this collection as a job lot. It's an ideal opportunity for any fan to acquire a huge amount of information about the sport. All items have been carefully stored over the years and I would describe the collection as being in very good or excellent condition. In summary, you're looking at (approx!) 334 magazines, 248 Programmes, 1 book and a box of Random Stuff! It comprises of: Magazines: Stock Car Magazines (124 copies): 1974 - April 2000. A dozen or so from the seventies, the rest are from 1987 onwards. StockCar Pictorials: both published pictorials from the 1990s. StockCar Annuals: 1988 through to 2001 (complete with self-assembly models of 53 and 85) StoxWorld Magazines (147 copies): June 1989 - June 2001 Stock Car Journal Magazines (excellent articles and editorials) (15 copies): August 1989 - July 1991 Inside Line Magazines (BSCDA) (33 copies) May 1992 - July 1996 Stock Car Supporter Magazines (27 copies) October 1970 - September 1980 World Championship / Semi-Final Programmes: various venues 1980's and 1990's, 19 copies Meeting Programmes (all VGC), about 15% of them are filled in): Coventry (52 copies) Nov 1987 - Oct 1995 Bradford (34 copies) July 1988 - Sept 1996 Stoke/Chesterton (15 copies) May 1993 - May 1998 Buxton (6 copies) Sept 1993 - July 1997 Crewe (19 copies) July 1990 - Sept 1993 TrackStar - Boston, KL, Swaffham, Skegness (40 copies) 1990 - 1996 Scunthorpe (34 copies) Nov 1988 - Nov 1992 Northampton (12 copies) April 1991 - July 1997 Leicester (2 copies) September 1982 & Sept 1984 Long Eaton (64 copies) Sept 85 - July 96 (including Willie Harrison Testimonial meeting) Sheffield (1 copy) March 1997 Short Circuit Magazines: April 1996 (Big FWj feature) FWj on the cover dressed as businessman "FWj means business in 1996" April 1995 (Falding EuroCar cover) August 1995 Cars & Car Conversions Magazines: August 1991 - Big F1 feature - "We go F1 racing and like it" with Des Chandler January 1999 - The issue with the full-colour FWj car feature shot in the studio History of F1 Stock Car Racing 1954 - 1990 - book by Malc Aylott and Vic Biddulph Box of Random Stuff! Including: 515 Fan Club newsletters CADS newsletters A few A4 Mike Greenwood F1 pictures 16-page Bradford Telegraph & Argus F1 WF feature pull-put BriSCA Action Report 1992 (2 copies) WF flyers and adverts Newspaper Cuttings F1/F2 fixture lists Countless Meeting Flyers SCM Christmas "Newspaper Style" magazines from Christmas '89 and '90 Rapid Orange Handcleaner advert Various F2 Drivers newsletters from when I had a licence in 1998 As I say, I may split this collection in a few weeks but I want to gauge interest in these items as a complete collection first. If you are interested in making me a serious offer for all the above items, please contact me via PM. I am based in Bristol, but willing to deliver the above to a convenient meeting (usually Coventry if it's F1). Thanks for looking!
  4. Think this car was also in the hands of the Finnikins for a while... isn't Craig (55) driving this car in the famous picture of him sending the tyre wall flying at Knockhill in 2003/4?
  5. Is Kev all ok after his shunt at Coventry? Best wishes.
  6. Here's a picture: http://www.3000gt.lv/images/int_kenwood.jpg This is a Kenwood DPX-510 double-din sized CD/Tape system. The display panel glides down to reveal the tape-slot. As you can see from the picture, this is a fantastic system with too many features to list - including a remote control that is just visible in the front corner. The display panel has a number of colours, and can be used to fine-tune every aspect of the sound. You can set the angle of the display/controls to your own preferences, anywhere between 90 and 180 degrees. This system is rare and very desirable and is in perfect working order, with not a single scratch or mark. It comes complete with all plugs, leads and bits and pieces necessary to fit. It will fit most cars, but obviously you will lose your sunglasses tray beneath your single DIN slot if you have one. If you're wanting to put it in a Transit or Bus then fitment is even easier! I am selling it because it is surplus to requirements. New this Unit would be £400+; if any Stoxnet member would like it then PM me for around a bargain £150. I can deliver to Taunton, Bristol, Birmingham, Coventry, and some NIR, Essex, Buxton etc! Trev
