Mike Bushel from the BBC will be mixing it on track with FWJ, Andy Smith, and Murray Harrison amongst others in the first race of the night. It will be broadcast on the 12th May nationally on BBC breakfast to 4 million viewers lets just hope he wins! Please show your support as he has never driven a stock car before and is already nervous of what may happen. He will be given some race tuition from several World Champions during the day to ensure he is up for it come 6.45pm.
More TV announcements to follow.
If you missed it, you can watch it here --> http://stage6.divx.com/BriSCA-Formula-1-Stockcars

Three 28 car heats isn't too far from what you were looking for Waz...
 As for you not making it

just seen the f2 drivers list now 3 heats
Bah! was looking forward to a 2 heat & Consi F2 meeting, Any ideas why that BRILLIANT idea was shelved? A format that would of brought the BEST out of the F2's and with cameras there as well. Two 30 odd car heats would of been mint.

Like many traveling fans, just wondered what the weathers like over in that part of the country - based on the wet wet wet country wide weather reports. (The NE has been manly dry yesterday and today, but very windy While i understand that it's been cats & dogs since yesterday down south)

CANCELLATIONS
532 Darren Kitson
What a Shame, i was really looking forward to seeing Daz not only out in a F1 (again) but also on Shale, Anyone know why he's canceled ? I understand that he had Car Troubles at Skegness which resulted in him only making one heat which was a disappointment.

A surprise addition to the programme for Coventry's Friday night banger/lightning rods/mini stox meeting are the F1 and F2 Heritage Cars.
I recall stoxnetters enjoyed these at Wimbledon and Northampton and might like the opportunity to see them again.
Start time 7.00pm admission £10.00.
Nina
Might be worth a night out if your down that way, hasn't there been the odd roll over in the Heritages

Richard is this just your filming - using 1 camera? or is it in partnership with Mr.Nick? also and is it with the home straight static camera ?

Jeremy just out of interest what car will Mike Bushell get to use, and if he's up for it (and the car) will he have the opportunity to race the whole meeting? Could this be the opening for another 'Top Gear' show in the future. Get a few more irons in the fire.

I know the end of run date is like tomorrow for the F1 season disk's, and i have no idea if LER has kept any spare, but if i was you I'd PM like NOW. We have just been watching our set. And all i can say these are amazing! from smithy's big last bender onto FWJ at the first Hendo you just knew this was going to be a cracker of a season and LER's got the lot on DVD and
Seeing just how much the likes of #105, #104, #4, #16, #84, #73 improved over the season has been a joy to watch.
If you miss out on these DVD's you'll be kicking your self.
LER can i place my order for the 2007 season review box set.

How well do you know your wife Last year i brought Ales a pair of Size 6 Riggers (steel toe-cap) Thinking ah-ha I'll get a size bigger so she will have extra sock space to keep the old toes warm.
Great idea but wrong size! Ales is in fact a size 4! so I've re-bought a pair of size 5's. So that leaves us with a pair of virtually unworn / unused Size 6 boots.
If you want them drop me or Ales a PM. Don't want anything for them but a donation into the FTF / IFCT / Under25's would be very nice.

SHEFFIELD PRESS RELEASE
in Essential Information
Posted
Steve i really do think your Press Release's are a great idea, but your putting them out far too late for them to be of any real use. These should be coming out at least 3 weeks before your meeting for there to be any chance of them getting into any other media (local newspapers). You posted the above piece on the 18th (Wednesday), just where was hoping it would get printed in time before your meeting, the local paper comes out on a Wednesday up here so i did'nt even bother sending it to them.
