My suspiscions are the 2008 set may have to be the last Season Highlights set I do. I'm hoping not, but will advise if this is the case.
Thanks for all the comments anyway.
Just checked my calendar and it ain't no First of April!!!
I do hope you reconsider. Each year they get better and better, and now in Widescreen - Even a cut-down-season-highlights would be a must buy. Save space by cutting down on the onscreen race results time, hay hay hay it's DVD, Widescreen = Flicker free if paused.
I'll pre-order what-ever you produce for 2009 Right Now.

$9.95 (NZ Dollar) which works out very roughly at today's exchange rate (£1 = $2.41) £4.01. A LOT cheaper than a flight over

Mr.Postman popped mine though the letter Box today, All that's needed now is Mr.C's autograph inside0

Disc No.16 is worth the money alone! And agree with above comments regarding wide-screen
Can i pre-order my 2009 set now please.

I got a good look at this book myself last night at the Driver's do.
A lot of people including the drivers were having a look and asking where they could purchase it for themselves.
It's a quality publication with excellent pictures and I'm getting the Image wrap hardcover version myself.
Very true, A LOT of interest from the drivers themselves, if only Colin had brought 50 copies with him
Oh so it's your hardcover version now is it, well you are in it i guess.
got to say it's more than worth the money... it's a great book to remember 2008...beaks
p.s i'm not on commission...
Not on commission either, but this really something i hope comes out every year. Colin any chance of doing some back dated books 2007, 2006, 2005........ No idea on whatkind of hard-drive photo storage you have. But it's a long off season (not long enough for some)

Good to see that them awful diesel / lubricant dropping trucks have been dropped this year

So, how many of you will be going to the NEC in January, How much is it this year- oh yeh £35 Quid to include the Live action plus £7 quid to park the car, lets not mention the cost of a burger & chips.
And what will you do when you get there? look at some static cars, maybe meet up with some friends and have a chat and a pint, oh yes and go and what a dozen or so cars stage a race for 8/10 laps.
Exactly the reason we don't go Tully - Watch the highlight show's on SkySports, See the various photo's taken via Stockcar Mag / Stoxnet & individual websites. Not much different from looking at static cars.
Come on chaps lets not moan about the costs of admision going up and let's stop giving these promotors a hard time about putting the prices up. Lets face it what isn't going up at the moment. I dread to think what the electric bill would be for running a night meeting this time of year, they are running a business and are entitled to cover their costs and make a few quid to secure their stadiums for our enjoyment for the following year.I believe we still have the best value entertainment you can buy. Nuff said
I wish filling up my car for the return 500 mile trip for each Coventry had only increased by £2!! That has not stopped us from attending every Coventry this season and i very much doubt the £2 increase will for next season.
Premier Sums up a night out at Coventry perfectly.
I do not think it unreasonable for Coventry to charge a premium over other tracks. It has better facilities than most and those facilities bring higher maintenance costs.
It books lots of cars which is also expensive.
It also is paying lots of cash on its track ch,ship, more I think than any other venue.
What other Venue has a reserve list for bookings, that is needed. ?
Cost of living is going up for EVERYONE we all need to balance the books.

Good luck with the sale Tim, hoping to see you in a REAL stockcar very soon

Really enjoyed the footage, obviously not a patch on being there with everything that makes for an atmospheric stockcar meeting - the noise of the cars the shouts from the crowd, the smells and the sweat! However, it is a blooming good advert for National 2lt Saloon Stockcars and for Cowdenbeath as a major racing venue in Scotland.
Well done to all involved. A vast improvement on previous features, hope these improvements (and the filming team's understanding of short oval racing) continues.
