Pit news: 175 - Left half shaft external end sheared. Engine mounting bolt sheared. Rad and steering box out for access. Update on 84: Engine ancillaries being worked on. Touch and go for Consi 1 as the cars are lining up on pit road right now.

Update on 84: Not waiting for the Manitou. Engine lifted in by hand! Every credit. A race against time to get it up and running.

Pit news after Ht.1: H17 - Front axle out. Update on 84: Engine out. Having to wait for the trackside Manitou to lift the replacement engine in.

Pre-meeting pit news: Frankie Jnr using JJ's car today. Looking like piston problem in the 515 engine after last night. 84 - The team changing the engine. No oil pressure.

Pit news: H61 - Rear panhard rod bent and left rear shocker top mount needs welding. NZ581 - Pete and Jordan working on the front right bumper corner brace and a bent front axle. H65 - Middle of right nerf split. H388 - Wing u/s. H447 - Front right shocker top mounting bolt sheared off.

Pit news: H310 - Right rear link bent. H87 - Right rear nerf bent up, & porta power on the rear panhard rod locating bracket. H215 - Porta power on the front right. H410 - Carb trouble. H79 - Left rear shock u/s. H99 - Both front corners being worked on. Cutting and welding bumper supports. H100 - Front axle bent.

Pit news: H525 - Front panhard rod bent. H100 - Centre link to diff bent. H99 - Right rear shock u/s. H61 - Gearbox out. H54 - Clutch in pieces. H484 - Rear axle out. H318 - R/h cab side pushed in at nerf rail attachment point.

Pit news after the Semi: 150 - Rear panhard rod sheared. 2 - Welding front right corner. 335 - Master switch came apart during race. 326 - Rear bumper top hoop crushed into rear panel. 175 - Front left disc separated from hub. Axle end cracked. Shocker u/s. 166 - Front axle needs straightening. Update on 300 - Internal fault within gearbox. That's it from the pits folks. An early dart to St.Day. Back from B'Ham.

Pit news after Ht.1: 24 - Vibration felt throughout race. Gearbox lost oil. 300 - Lost drive. Could be input shaft, definitely not prop.

Pit news after the Consi: 501 - Front right corner bent back. Four load ups: 532 169 - Car ok, but Billy clouted his arm. 101 - Engine missing. Carb investigation. 345 - Damage from Ht.1 That's it from the pits folks. Early shift tonight. Back for half of Buxton next week.

Pit news after the Semi: 445 - Torque arm bracket fractured at axle. 12 - Changing rear panhard rod. 501 - Rear right link to axle sheared at axle end. 242 - Rear bumper top hoop bent in against rear bodywork. 152 - Loading up. Losing oil. 5 - Bent front axle.

Pit news after Ht.1: Not a lot to report so far. 345 - Jake's got damage to the rear left corner/battery compartment after being stopped in T1. Update on two from last weekend: 515 - Original engine refitted, and all's good judging by the win in this race 337 - Dave changed a lot of drivetrain parts during the week, but the vibration returned during the race. Next job is to have a look at the engine.

Update on 166: Halfshaft ok. Going at risk with vibration. Daz said it was Bob's phone ringing in his overall pocket.

Pit news after Ht.4: H79 - Rear axle change. 166 - Possible r/h halfshaft gone. 335 - Porta power on the front right. A few starting to load up: 307, 136 & 532. Daz had been repairing the 166 car all night.

Pit news after Ht.3: 515 - Welding front left bumper corner brace. 16 - Steering arm link sheared off at pump. L/h exhaust came off in t3. 483 - Welding left rear shocker mount. Two lads not able to race today: H880 - Undiagnosed engine trouble. 275 - Top of piston broken up. Spark plug bent. Terry thinks it's linked to the engine getting hot at B.Vue.

Pit news after Ht's 1 & 2: 259 - Left front corner bent back. 326 - Wing mountings sheared. 136 - R/h nerf rail rear cross brace needs welding. 25 - Front right shocker u/s. H880 - Problem with the distributor.

Mid morning pit news: 212 - Changing worn pulleys. Belts keep slipping. 136 - Welding right rear upper link location bracket. 25 - Front left corner work in op. Welding bumper brace, kingpin broken in 3 pieces, hub and stub axle u/s, and as expected the shocker. Fair bit of expense there. 84 - Grinding and welding on the front end steelwork. 268 - Gearbox change. Unable to select 2nd in the old unit. 166 - Replacement rear axle fitted, and using Callum's wing.
