.Not really hatman , Coventry nearly always topped 60 cars, Bradford was way up there too with 3 heat meetings , so a 26 car two thirds meeting format does not entice me I'm afraid. The "cracker" at Christmas was only enlightened a bit, by a tremendous effort by a first time Dutch entrant. To be honest after a winter break 26 cars is a poor effort by the F1 drivers. Good on the F2 lads though !Really looking forward to this.
Coventry may be gone, Bradford may just be a fantasy, but stock car racing is still magic.
At 26 cars it'll be all in. But what a doom and gloom post.
He is right stock car racing is magic and can produce great racing regardless of car numbers. Especially at a track like Belle Vue which is known for good racing of late.
And for info the F2s are 3 weeks into their season hence why a lot more cars are ready and racing. From a shale point there has already been Kings Lynn and Stoke.

Out of interest, how many does Wimbledon hold? I'm quite surprised to see that it's sold out.
3,000. Due to half of it being closed due to health and safety.

I wonder what car Frankie jnr Jnr will be racing. As I notice Derek Brown is booked in. And JJ has been using his car all season.

Would 2nd and 3rd have been measured after a GN? If not it looks a bit unlucky on Rob as they may all have been in the same boat if similar changes had been made.
Only the winner gets checked for heats, consolations and Grand Nationals.
Top 3 get checked in a final.
Top 5 in a championship race (British, Euro, U.K. Open)

October Shootout round in 2009 had 87 carsApart from World Finals that must be one of the biggest turnouts at Cov ever?
October Shootout Round in 2013 had 85 cars
http://www.briscaf1stox.co.uk/website/stats_25.php
But certainly one of the biggest in recent seasons.

Playing devils advocate for a moment. How do you know Tom isn't going to take part in the remaining 9 meetings?
Dont forget last year 515 blew the engine at Skegness pretty much 0 points. Going into the grand national at Sheffield it was 4/515/212 in contention.
Just because Tom has missed round 1 doesn't mean he shouldn't be allowed to race in it.

Karl raced the ex 84/ now 224 car at Birmingham last year I think.
He did. I think only in the under 25s from memory. Then tom took over for the rest of the meeting.

Not sure if I've ever seen Karl Hawkins on tar in the past???? Anyone?🤔🤔
Raced at Skegness this season at the uk open can't remember if it was the open or the saloon weekend. Believe he also did the British as well.

Thinking about going this one even though don't normally go & taking my little lad who loves Rob Speak, any idea why he ain't book if so will he possible be booking ?
He's probably racing in the F2 semi finals at King's Lynn the night before.
No 464 either usually out at every Tarmac meeting.

Only problem I see is lack of F2 support. Roll on Sunday
Support is v8s minis and open rods for Sunday. F2s not on the format.

That was certainly his plan from comments on his Facebook.19 Jon Horne has posted on Twitter that he'll be racing at this meeting. Think he's sold his car and is using a Mat Newson one?
John Dowson also posted on Facebook that he had a choice of cars. To which Mat replied with pictures of the silver and yellow cars. So not sure if he will be out in one too.
James Morris also a customer of Mats. Could be another one of those busy weekends for Mat. Good job he already qualified

I do not post on here to stir up anything. Delete me if you think that to be true.If anything it is YOU who is now stirring!!! I did not try to add to the confusion I merely stated that they were wrong in their assumptions End Of
That's all good. But when I state an assumption it's exactly that it's my interpretation of a situation with the facts I have. I am perfectly happy to be proven wrong by people with the facts. I agree this sport is terrible for giving its fans the facts and you as a member of 152 shouldn't have to explain the situation. But hay I don't see that changing.
What I don't agree with is feeling belittled by someone who does have the facts but feels the need to make a big deal of the fact that I had an assumption or an opinion in the first place. That is my only issue.
Captian Nut Nut. My prediction. 515-445-84 with a few big name dnfs in the consi.

It's nice you can come on stoxnet and have a discussion with or without facts about the information that has been presented at the time.
Oh wait it appears you can't do that and you are called a pair of old woman.
If you actually read my post. Where did I assume anything? Don't think I did but hay I am sure I can be corrected by someone who knows FACTS.

It says f1s at 6:30 on one of the posters shared I think it was in the SCM.

It also says on the bscda and modified Facebook that it's the British final for the uk modifieds. But that doesn't appear on the website just says ministox.

Reserves.
Geoff Nicholls 35 (24)
Steve Webster 35 (18)
Paul Ford 34
Nigel Whalley 32 (18)
Russell Cooper 32 (12)

So after all the discussion over the order of reserves being used it now appears that 152 has withdrawn anyway !
I wrote that exact thing 100 different ways but then remembered you should never assume anything. That's what I was told.
