the grading system was a great thing when introduced..but drivers started to take advantage of it by winning a few finals then retiring for a few months and being downgraded each month then doing it all over again it really annoyed me blatent cheating I called it ... then you couldn't be downgraded unless you did a certain amount of meetings and one of the drivers concerned decided to retire.. now undergraded drivers are winning finals with good quality cars not quite the same but a driver who wins a final should be upgraded for the next meeting especially with 2 day meetings..my opinion im sure others will have something to say about this point

I was going tomorrow and was sitting watching foyles war on tv and got a phone call from owlerton stadium telling me of the cancellation and refund for my restaurant bookings

just to put the record straight the shoot out final was sponsored by teng tools but the dave peters trophy also awarded to will hunter as winner of the final was sponsored by dave peters wife.. brothers.and family and colin hayward.in conjunction with the v.s.c.a...so will hunter got 2 trophies for winning the final

just for the record 445 won the pat driscoll memorial trophy presented to him by brother dennis ex 274 346 Ashley England won the reg pryor memorial shield for first yellow top to finish in final....401 won the roger squire memorial trophy +cash prize from squire family..........308steven malkin jnr won a tyre +cash prize from the rook brothers for being first white top to finish....422 ben riley won fastest lap and a cash prize from the squire family......the v.s.c.a thank incarace for letting these events happen we all had a great day weather was perfect!
