This weekend sees the Stoxkarts racing at Birmingham as Part of the I factor with 34 drivers booked to race and Sunday sees us at Buxton for our first visit of the year 32 booked for this one. If you are local why not come along and see what we are all about, plenty of close rcing and plenty of action on track.

Saturday sees the season opener for the Stoxkarts formula at round round 1 of the I Factor series at Birmingham wheels. 38 seniors are booked to race with one or two of the regular racers unable to make it due to family holidays over the Easter weekend. It looks like the formula will go from strength to strength this year with 40+ Karts expected on track at most meetings.
This meeting is also the opening round for the Junior Stoxkarts with 7 Drivers booked to compete. The 10 - 16 year old class is proving ever popular due to the fact they share the same Kart as the seniors, so there is no need to have 2 Karts for 2 family members to race.. Hopefully the weather will not be too bad although at the February test day at Birmingham a few people did get to race in the snow!

I have for sale a Simpson D Cell Neck and body restraint XL comees complete with all fixings etc.. only used once.. Cost £400 new will take £300 for it. it is blue and still has the box and instructions, will try post a picture of it. Allowed in F1 - F2 - V8s etc..
Just could not get on with it but know a lot of drivers really like them.

We are holding a test day at Birmingham Wheels on Saturday, The test sessions are all fully booked but anyone is more than welcome to come along and see what all the fuss is about. We are running from 10am to 4pm. There will be a few owner drivers trying out their Karts after their winter rebuilds and a few secondhand Karts that are for sale will also be there. Feel free to pop along..

I am still trying to raise funds for a comeback in 2012.. The company I work for went into administration on Friday without warning, so I'm having to put my project car up for sale
The car was origianally built by Allan Barker around 1980 for the late Lee Wilson 111. The chassis and much of the bodywork were the same as Allans own big Buck Special, and this is the car I had intended on turning it into. My car last raced in 1987, then sat awaiting a return to the track.
Having bought the car last year, I stripped it down, just leaving enough on it to allow it to be easily transported. The engine, a big block chevy 454, is also stripped.
The car is priced to sell at £1100

Stoxkarts make their anual apperence at Skegness this week. Thursday 25th sees the last Teng Tools Gold Top Qualifier and Sunday sees the 2011 Teng Tools Gold Top Final. 34 Karts booked in for Thursday hoping to try and get those last few points to get onto the 28 Kart Grid for Sundays big race. Start Time 7.30.
Sunday sees 36 karts booked for the Teng Tools Gold Top Final as first race of the day with 28 Karts gridding. The Teng Tools Gold Top race will be over 20 laps with a bumper to bumper rolling lap, or more! the steward of the meeting has been told the green can drop on any lap from 1 to 5. This is how it was run last year at Birmingham and the build up of tension was fantastic. Hopefully a bumper Holiday crowd will be there to see the 2011 Teng Tools champion being crowned!

Hi The Stoxkarts will be appearing at Northampton on Sunday 24th July.. A Record 34 Karts booked !! The Sky TV Cameras will also be there filming the Mascars.. 27 races at one meeting and all for £12.. get along and have a relaxed afternoon with lots of racing.

The Stoxkarts will be making their only apperance of the year at Barford this Sunday 15th May. They proved a big hit with the crowd last year and certainly put on a good show! for those not visiting SkegVegas it will be a great chance to see them in action.

The kart has been fully stripped in the close season and will be fitted with a rebuilt engine, new Butler seat and many other new parts. Four tyres were new for the start of 2010. Proven Championship, Heat and Final winning kart in the 2010 season but is being sold due to financial needs. Trailer is a purpose build stoxkart trailer fitted with spare wheel and light board and was new for the start of 2010. Package includes a full set of new 2011 wheels and tyres (wheels painted red). Kart is still disassembled but can be bought assembled ready to race or stripped.
May split if money is right!

Racing starts at 12.30 Seniors and Juniors racing as well as test sessions for potential new drivers.. anyone is welcome with no admission charge!! why not come up and see what goes on and maybe stayover for the F1s on the Sunday!!
