Change of plans means V8 Hotstox for sale. This is an Andy Smith chassis that has been successful in several sets of hands. It comes complete, on the button and ready to race. It has a Kirkey seat, belts with NASCAR style clasp and "pop off" steering wheel......the usual stuff! It runs on Transit axles both back and front with the adjustability of spring boxes on the rear. Forward mounted, lightweight, tarmac style wing completes the looks. Now the business bit....... The engine is a 3.5 litre with Omega pistons, ported and polished heads running Volvo rocker gear and solid lifters. The block has been decked to increase the compression ratio. The cam is a 238 and is on vernier timing gear. The manifolds (both inlet and exhaust) have been ported to suit the heads. The sump has been extended and letterboxed for turning left. Ali radiator and she never gets hot! There is a button flywheel and Tilton clutch driving through the usual ZF box. This car will get you well past where the current owner is grade wise......it has taken a number of drivers to red and has the potential to go even further in the right hands. For sale, the "Green Machine" V8 Hotstox as raced by me (Neil Fry) in 2006. Complete and ready to race with tarmac type wing.
