Yeah he had got them fitted saturday night and was going well in Final until he got tangled up and wrecked the front axle(again) which they had repaired all week after it got took out at Belle Vue last week. Never mind got 3 weeks to repair before out again at Kings Lynn He also had a new front tyre kindly donated from someone who sponsored the ladies race winner Think dad wants to get upto yellow before end of the season and be yellow for start of 2008 season(says it's gonna be his last year as he is getting to old) Cheers Grafter

We hope he finds an extra turn of spped after Belle Vue's performance, he had problems at Coventry that 1 plug lead kept coming off so he changed one. 1st heat at Belle Vue put his foot down and the engine cut out completly the car completly stranded on the racing line resulting in some heavy damage to the car and driver, tried again in heat 2 same happened again. After asking him what plug lead he had put on it was a copper 1 which was too powerful which made the car completly cut out. Anyway he finished the final and got a place in the grand national. He was very sore from his shunt Monday morning at 57 age is getting the better of him. Out a Kings Lynn Friday night.
