I have heard that the Smiths are feeling the effects of the credit crunch and cant afford the diesel, probably understandable at the amount of meetings these drivers do!!!!! No idea why the Neachells arent there, bit disappointed really as the go well round the Norfolk Arena.

The meetings at King's Lynn and Belle Vue look like being great this year. Looking at sites, KL on Sat 27 (1pm) has 27 F1s, 28 saloons, 18 Robins and around 60 Bangers. BV on Sun 28 (1pm) has 30 f1s, 33 bombers and 18 super bangers. They both look like being great meetings so who is going to be going to watch them!??? Long range weather looks good for both meetings -Ill be at Lynn doing the merchandise, make sure you come and say hello if youre there!! See that Deane Woods son Billy is having a go in the 2L Stock Cars - good to see him having a go on the proper saloons!!! :afro: So lets get some interest in the festive meets - whose planning to go where!!

There is now a small preview of this meeting on the TSR site - some points I picked up from it which are worth highlighting; a) They are expecting around 50 F1 Stock Cars There will be a minimum of 6 F1 races c) The first race will be a white & yellow race and this will take place at 6.15pm (might be worth getting advance queue jumper ticket if u think u might be lateish as i bet there will be a queue to get in then!) d) One of the heats will be for the driver of the year - closed grid 12 laps, £50 for the leader of each lap and £500 for the winner! e) and although it is not on TSR site, the weather forecasts are all looking good in the east for Saturday!!! Looks like being good!

Norfolk Arena's big stock car night of the year is now just around the corner, and on Saturday 25 October (6.30pm), we will stage our annual Halloween Carnival Night. On the bill are Pre 70 Classic Bangers, F1 Stock Cars and a gigantic fireworks display, the annual halloween fancy dress parade and lots more!
