  14. Buxton Raceway are very proud to feature the 2022 BriSCA F1 Stockcars Championship of the World at Ipswich on September 10th. The grid is confirmed, BriSCA's best are on it and ready to do battle. Pole Sitter 259 Paul Hines will be looking to use his top line, ex Ryan Harrison car to full advantage and hoping to grasp the opportunity to gain his first Gold Roof. Lurking alongside will be the favourite, #1 Tom Harris, who will be keen to retain his Gold Roof, which has been exclusively his for the last 4 years. It's going to be a tough race, and, for some, there is still the matter of the Last Chance Qualifier for the remaining two places on the grid. If those drivers who failed to make it through the Semi Finals, you would expect 217 Lee "it can be done" Fairhurst, and 16 Matt Newson to be pushing themselves to the limit for those last two precious places in the line up. Of course, there will be lots of others keen to take those two top spots and, whoever does make it through to The Big One, will have deserved it. BriSCA F1 Stockcar racing is rightly regarded as the cream of top quality, all action motorsport and has created many legends in its time. None more so than the Clitheroe dairy farmer, and 8 times World Champion, 53 "Sir" John Lund, who has safely made it through to the World Championship grid for 2022. He will, no doubt have the biggest cheer of the night from his many UK and Oversea's fans as he takes his place on the grid. As well as the UK drivers, there will also be a strong line up, 14 in total, of Dutch and NZ Drivers, trying for the Gold Roof. Certainly, the Dutch are even more within reach of grasping the Gold, their game has been very much "upped" over the last few years. Could they take it in '22? Whoever does win it will have worked hard for it and we wish each and every driver the best of luck. You can be there to see it, maybe to see history being made, we really hope you can make it. More details regarding this event will appear here in due course. Tickets are on sale via the Ticketebo platform, seating or standing, https://www.ticketebo.co.uk/buxton-raceway/brisca-formula-one-world-championship.html
