Thanks Daniel, I have absolutely no idea what sort of disc it is (is there an easy eay to find out?). The non-data side of the disc is a silvery white colour - no writing etc. I'm assuming I'll have to rip it & burn my own copy - which now means buying a DVD writer for my PC. I don't think copyright is an issue in this case - and BTW, the DVD wasn't sourced from a Stoxnet user, for the record.

Quick question (and Matt, apolgies if I could have found this on the dvd.reviewer fora): I have a stock car DVD which comprises a folder of VOB, IFO & BUP files. It plays OK on my PC, but not my ageing standalone DVD player. Is there a way I can convert the info, via my PC, to create a disc that will play & if so, what software & hardware do I need? Any help gratefully received!
