Having spoken to Eliot yesterday,I asked him a similar question,he said he was unaware he had placed third and was allowed off track without being informed of his placing,he went straight back to his truck and started preparing the car for the GN.when he was told,in the pits,he had placed ,he took the car to be weighed.The DQ had already been enforced by this time.
