We went and had a great afternoon watching the racing, sun shone and we where made very welcome. A very friendly group of people and a very well run club by the looks of today.
Sadly Frankie sent his apologies, had to pack his smalls for Tenerifeyyyy but his replacement was just as famous. Ricky Wilson #502 who was thrown in at the deep end to present the trophies.
WELL DONE AND THANK YOU TO EVERYONE

Gold Top Race In Nelson - Sponsors Needed
in Essential Information
Posted · Edited by fenny
No you aren't imagining things, stock car racing is still alive in Nelson, Lancashire.
Well maybe the cars are a bit smaller but the club, that was founded in 1973 and had several tracks around Lancashire, is still alive and kicking. Currently ROSSENDALE MODEL STOCK CAR CLUB - RMSCC for short, has a track and clubroom in Nelson and also a track in Blackley, Manchester.
The cars are 1/32nd scale replicas of BRISCA F1s and a couple of the current F1 + F2 drivers are registered at the club.
Lee Fairhurst F1 - 217, Tim Collins F1 - 148 Tony Blackburn F2 - 225, Billy Webster F2 - 226, Matin Lamb - Legend 52
Stoxnet Forum users registered as drivers are ME - FENNY, Chris 24, Fast Eddie plus many more
What we are looking for is people to sponsor the meeting, any amount from £2 - £100, for this you can have your name in the programme and an afternoon watching the meeting on SUNDAY 2nd OCTOBER in NELSON.
We will also lend you a car for you to race the other races during the meeting
Last year Ricky Wilson was kind enough to sponsor the MEETING giving the club £100.
How can you donate I can hear you shout at the PC or Laptop. Please PM me or you can see me at WF.
By the way I am club secretary and our Chairman is Steve Smith, Wolfy 190 and Bobby Burns mechanic
