No you aren't imagining things, stock car racing is still alive in Nelson, Lancashire. Well maybe the cars are a bit smaller but the club, that was founded in 1973 and had several tracks around Lancashire, is still alive and kicking. Currently ROSSENDALE MODEL STOCK CAR CLUB - RMSCC for short, has a track and clubroom in Nelson and also a track in Blackley, Manchester. The cars are 1/32nd scale replicas of BRISCA F1s and a couple of the current F1 + F2 drivers are registered at the club.
