  1. Stoxnet will be getting its annual software upgrade at some point over the closed season, and apart from some cosmetic updates, we're taking the opportunity to make a few changes to keep it relevant. The sub-forums are going to be re-organised like so. Stadium Info For The Travelling Fan will be archived because it hasn't been used for over 3 years, a lot of the info is out of date, and the rest is more easily found in other places. Forthcoming Events will be renamed to Essential Information and used for meeting previews, news, press releases, live results, website updates, Roy's Off Season Gallery, anything else that might be useful or of interest to the general public. It will not be used for general discussion. Pure F1 will be for general chat about F1, plus Driver Of The Day, and will be visible to Stoxnet members only. Website Updates will be archived because only a few posts have been regularly updated in the last 18 months - these will be moved into Essential Information. For Sale & Wanted will stay as it is. The photo gallery will stay as it is. At some point, Stoxnet will be offline while this takes place.

  6. Statement on behalf of BriSCA / BSCDA / ORCi & BMB On behalf of our sport, we join our community in being shocked, saddened and numbed following a tragic accident at Birmingham Wheels last night involving an esteemed friend, ambassador and huge and valued supporter of our sport. Sadly, Mr Colin North passed away yesterday evening, 16th November following a tragic accident. As you would understand, those directly involved are shocked and numbed. Today our thoughts and condolences are with Colin's family and very many friends within a wide range of communities, particularly oval racing and Speedway where, over many years, Colin, a gentleman in every sense of the word and a man of huge integrity was more than a valued sponsor, indeed a 'friend, patron and ambassador' for our sport. At this time it really is difficult for us to put into words our sadness at this tragic loss.. "We are co-operating fully with the Police and Health and Safety Executive who are investigating this tragic accident. Further information will be provided in due course but at this stage in the investigation it is inappropriate for us to comment further and we will not do so."

  14. Latest update, via A1NOS on Allstox. text donations. Really straight forward. Text to this number, 70070. In the body of the text put the following VJFV47 Leave a space then a £ sign and the amount. The system can only handle £10 but you can donate as many times as you like. The amount you donate will appear on your mobile bill. So just so it's nice and clear, to text a £7 donation would be; 70070 VJFV47 £7 then send. I really want to see those fingers.
  15. from A1NOS on Allstox:- I spoke with Sam Wainman during the week and she offerd to supply a trophy for the Tracy Hipkiss final. True to her word she brought a monster trophy to KL last night and we chatted through some options. As I was doing this FWJ, fresh from his win in SF1, appeared with his trophy and also offerded this. A really great gesture on both fronts. There is some behind the scenes activities to do and some work but I'm sure very soon we'll have some news and this thing is defiantly happening.
  16. Posted by A1NOS on Allstox:- I have spoken with Mark Hipkiss and he gives his blessing for this following post. As you may or may not be aware there is a very touching post on the Wainman Racing website, and if you haven't seen it, please take a moment to look at the lead thread. I thought it would be really nice if we could organise an F1 meeting final with trophy to be named in honour of Tracy Hipkiss. If we could organise a collection at this particular meeting with all proceeds going to the LOROS Hospice where Tracy spent some time. It's a very delicate subject to discuss with emotions so raw but feel it would be a lovely touching ever lasting monument to her memory for Mark, family and close friends when they attend Brisca F1 stock car racing. At the end of the day I like to think of "us" as one big family so let's take time to look after one of our own.
  17. Bit pointless, don't you think Premier?? - leaving comments about a fixture list which has been withdrawn for amendment by the Promoter. Let's wait for a revised list, and then comment accordingly. By the way, we don't do 'subjects not for discussion' - the originator of the thread asked for it to be removed. Fair enough, as far as we are concerned.
  18. Sorry folks, thread removed at the request of Jeremy. Fixtures are being re-worked and will be released again when completed.
  19. Posted on behalf of Mandy Pickles: I am writing on behalf of a relative who has come into the possession of this stock car: http://www.stoxpics.co.uk/Picture_Pages/He.../Mike_close.htm I was wondering if your forum members could help with a valuation. My relative is looking to get a valuation for the car to sell but isn't sure how to go about it.I saw your forum on the web and thought your members may be able to offer some help on how to go about getting a valuation and where would be the best place to advertise it. Any help would be greatly received. Thanks Mandy
