Sundays see the Horry Barnes Memorial for the 2L Saloons and the Tommy Kaye Memorial for BriSCA F1. With BriSCA F2 also on the bill for Sunday. Full racing preview and premeeting entertainment info to follow. Including a celebration of the 40th year of the Saloon World and a grid walk (draft timing on the other page) Don’t forget about the famous late night bar and disco, what happens in Skeg Vegas stays in Skeg Vegas! There will be public access over this weekend to the pits. Also advance tickets can’t be used at the pitgate, thanks. PLEASE DON’T ARRIVE BEFORE THE OPENING TIMES LISTED ON THE OTHER PAGE. Blocking the road causes problems with the local council so again please don’t arrive before the gates open. And please respect our neighbours when you leave the raceway and keep within the Speed Limits. Weekend wristbands will also be available at the Turnstiles on the Saturday. We are thrilled to be welcomed into the Trip Advisor Hall of Fame with our Certificate of Excellence and we have a 4.7 out of 5 rating on google. You really should be coming along to Skegness Raceway to be part of the excitement & fun that lots of people are talking about and have had a great time over the last few years. We are also members of Visit Britain and Visit England. And we are also home of the Skeg Vegas sign! Skegness Raceway boast fantastic facilities. We have a large undercover Grandstand, extended by 50% in 2020, if you prefer to watch from outside, the arena is raised terracing so plenty of unhindered viewing. We also have Bars (including our family Raceview Bar, heated for chilly days), shops, catering, toilets, disabled toilets and baby changing facilities. We have no direct seating, large tyres are banked in on each bend which do create a seating area. You are welcome to bring your own chairs. The seaside end allows a great area for wheelchair viewing. We have some ongoing improvements at the raceway, the ground near the turnstiles may be muddy under foot. Please bear with us as we continue to improve the Raceway Sorry there isn’t a cash machine at the raceway Large free carpark adjacent to the stadium Disabled parking, next to the turnstiles. Sorry spaces can’t be saved. Please don’t block the gate. Trackside parking no longer available (hasn’t been since 2017) and there is also no longer a bus service to the Raceway, we do have a large car park. Sorry camping is only available on the Saturday night and isn’t bookable. Note. Large quantities of food and drink are not allowed to be brought in to the Stadium arena. You may enter the Stadium with a small amount of food and non- alcoholic beverage suitable for one person’s consumption ie. Sandwich, packet of crisps and bottle of soft drink. We will not allow cooler boxes, holdalls, shopping bags, backpacks etc. filled with refreshments. Nor will we allow trays, packs crates etc. of soft drinks. STRICTLY NO ALCOHOL or GLASS. Alcohol will be confiscated If you have specific dietary requirements for health reasons, please bring a confirmation letter with you from your GP. We race in all weather conditions. Well behaved dogs on leads are allowed to be brought into the venue. No tents, shelters, gazebos, marquee’s, pop up tents or similar are allowed inside the Stadium Arena.

BrISCA - BMB - BSCDA The BMB and our racing family in unison joins the nation in our sense of loss following the sad passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on Thursday 8th September Our deepest condolences are with the Royal Family at this time. This is a sad and difficult time for the Nation and reflection. The BMB have, as you would expect, been intensively discussing the status of this weekends BriSCA Formula One World Championship as no one is unaffected by yesterdays sad news. In reaching decisions in such unprecedented circumstances, there may be no perfect solution. However, after intensive collaborative discussion given that many race teams, fans from different parts of the globe are already in the UK, it has been agreed that the World Final weekend commencing this evening at Mildenhall at 6.pm WILL GO AHEAD and Ipswich and Northampton tomorrow and Sunday. We are acutely aware of elite sports 'postponing' schedules in what is an evolving situation, however with timing and circumstances, this event will be almost impossible to restage in 2022. The events will be operated with utmost respect of Her Majesty and the operating programmes suitably reflective of the mood

Less than 48 hours! ALL ROADS LEAD EAST! Over 70 BriSCA F1s are entered for Ipswich as of today and 36 for Mildenhall. The Dutch will be on the ferries and a great entry and the Kiwis in the country! The Buxton team are on site making last minute preparations for what hopefully will be a great World weekend and a Champion crowned A few last tweeks being made for Saturday and BSCDA TV will be lining up the contenders and personalities for Live Interviews from 3.pm alongside Overseas time trials for qualification and then the build up to 5.pm for the start of the 2022 EXCEL BUILDERS & WMS WORLD FINAL. Expect the unexpected with a few surprises as we welcome the drivers on track for the Golden build up! Do not forget the youngsters with their biggest event, National Ministox who on so many occasions have stolen the show in 2022! Their Gold Roof is their 'main event' Gates open at 10.am at Ipswich, the stadium offers 3500 seats which can be booked on the day and superb catering.
