Belle Vue (Hyde Road) used to run on Bank Holiday Monday. They used to start at 7:00pm and probably finish between 9:15pm and 9:30pm. Always had plenty of cars. Sheffield on Monday nights regularly had a full 60 car schedule, we were once a reserve on a Monday evening! Unfortunately times have changed.

Anyone know why 348 didn't appear in the final?

If you can get a large number of Dutch Drivers over, as Coventry did in 2016, then just go with F1's please. The Friday night at Coventry was a really good meeting.

I'm sure the Coventry World final wasn't John Lunds last appearance, surely he raced there in October and November

At least we can take in some food and drink. Some places you go to don't allow you to take in any food or drink. I remember my daughter going to a Pop concert a few years ago on a hot day and having to throw her bottle of water away and then buy a bottle when in the venue (at extortionate prices)

According to Speedhive the result is 390, 21, 4, 446, 463, 555, 16, 335, 212, 502, 313, 169, 45, 211

Scotland update - Advance tickets are online for anyone who wants the convenience - they are not however discounted due to 'holding' prices down [ Saturday is below a usual Championship admission of £22 and pegged at 2016 £20 ] - and costs have risen overall about 10% since 2016!
We understand that 39 are now booked and will update when we get next updated list and there is every possibility of a third Scottish driver [ known to most ] being on the grid once licensing etc resolved.
Hi Will
Can you post the website address that advance tickets can be bought from please?

Did 326 mark Sargent turn up ?
He was at Stoke and Sheffield with the mini

Interesting to see that Stuart Smith's fastest lap in the GN was lap 14, I presume without the wing, though quite a bit slower than his fastest lap in the Final.

76 and 249 were both at Ipswich, certainly in the pits

As 555 was lapped on the line by 515 and 217, how was 390 behind. I for one did not see 390 get lapped
I think 555 was involved in the 3 car tangle at the start of the GN, where they went over the tyres entering turn 1. No way did 390 finish behind him.

Based on qualifying points scored to get qualification into semi finals, highest points at front of grade, I have only included cars on Saturdays booking list.
Stock Car Mag shows the grid
add 346, 518, 422, 196 to yours, I've tried to omit the shale drivers I doubt will turn up

Looks as though heats 1 and 2 will be a bit imbalanced with a lot in heat 2 due to heat 1 being the semi final consolation

I too am looking for a grid for the Consoltion Semi-Final for Pizzabet
Usually grade order I seem to remember

I'm surprised he isn't racing his old Jamie Davidson car

Lining up thirteenth will be Rob Speak who has numerous titles to his name in the world of Brisca Stock Car racing. Now, the situation in which Rob found himself in is quite unique as he has only raced once this year due to retiring at the end of last season to focus on promoting Skegness Stadium this season. But due to winning the National Series and Silver roof this year, he was automatically seeded into one of the two World Semi Finals. And with Nigel Green choosing to race at Skegness, it meant that Rob Speak was also seeded to the Skegness Semi-Final grid! There were multiple questions and discussions as to whether he would race or not, but eventually, he decided he would, purely because it was literally at his track and so the Davidson race team lent him with a car so he could race. Rob eventually finished well to book his spot on the World Final grid. Rob pretty much goes into this race then with no pressure, but as he said, “Whenever I put my crash helmet on, I want to win!” So, you may want to look out for the 318 car on World Final night too. Not to mention he has won the World Final twice before in 2001 and 2015.
Rob wasn't seeded into the semi Final race due to winning the National Series, it was due to World Qualifying points he had scored at the qualifying rounds held at the end of the 2016 season

Everyone seems to be forgetting 2 things when talking about the need for meetings this weekend.
1) There is a "gentleman's agreement" between F1 and F2 not to run a meeting to clash with each other's World Final.
2) The original plan was for a Sunday meeting including F1 as part of the F2 World Final weekend but this was dropped when the track became unavailable as the priority was to give the travelling F2s and Saloons 2 days of racing.
Cowdenbeath are running an F2 meeting on F1 WF night

Just being a bit picky
Reference the latest poster in this thread.
I think heat one should read 3/12 to the final, as I think it's the first two that go the world final.
Does anyone agree with me?

Stock car Racing is a hobby, not a job. Yes it would be nice if all the top drivers were able to do all the meetings. However it isn't always possible. Work commitments and spending time with family are also important. It is also an expensive and time consuming hobby.
