For anyone thinking of going to watch some stock car racing in the USA, I have a Magellan 5120 LMTX Sat nav available for hire with USA and Canada maps.
I have lifetime map updates on the unit so they are updated about 3 times a year.
I recently used it on a trip to Nevada and found it easy to use, but it does come with an instruction booklet anyway.

Brand new tyre inflation kit from Renault Master van.
Consists of 12v compressor pump, sealant, instructions and smart, sturdy carry bag.
The pump has 7 metre long cables with crocodile clips and have an inline fuse (25 amp). The pump is particularly useful if a) you don't have a working cigarette lighter socket or b] you have an extra long wheelbase van as it will reach any wheel easily with the length of cable it has or c) CAN BE CONNECTED TO THE BATTERY OF YOUR RACE CAR BY THE CROCODILE CLIPS
The sealant is suitable for use on commercial van tyres and has a use by date of 2015. (I don't think the sealant can be used on car tyres as the instructions say to inflate to 64 psi)
These kits cost over £130 from a Renault dealer. I have based my price solely on the value of the pump so grab yourself a bargain at just £20 + £6.00 p&p

My V8 Hotstox is for sale. At the moment it is a rolling chassis but it comes with both 3.5 & 4.2 engines.
The 3.5 was running when taken out but could do with money being spent on it to be competitive.
The 4.2 needs stripping to find why it doesn't do more than half a turn before locking up, might be something simple or it might be more serious so best to regard this engine as just a source of spares.
The car comes complete with shale wing and all my spare wheels and tyres including some barely used 205's
The chassis is straight and strong but will need some minor mods doing to comply with this years regs.

As I have a new car on the way, possibly one of the best known Rookirods over the last year or so is now available, on the button and ready to race (apart from roof fins)
VW Passat (RR16). This car has been a consistent points scorer at Buxton and has also had numerous top 3 finishes on the shale at Belle Vue including a win.
It comes absolutely complete and includes the following:- very strong shell, good engine (revs to 7300), Kirkey seat, 80mm rev counter, Premier Fuel Systems tank, braided fuel hose, V-blade front tyres on alloys, leather rim race steering wheel, window net, NASCAR type belts, fire extinguisher, temp gauge, H frame, recent battery. It also comes with free dents (all minor) from the last meeting!
This is one of the strongest cars out there (as those who have hit me will testify) and the handling is nice and progressive especially in the wet. This would be an ideal car for a novice or somebody seeking a proven shale car for BV/Brampton.

Fuel cells/plumbed in extinguishers

Any driver wanting to run a fuel cell from the start of the season will need to get their order in and pay the deposit as soon as possible. Any orders taken after the end of January may not be ready for the start of the season.
Details of the cells can be found at http://www.racincargo.co.uk/racinstuff.htm where there is also a Paypal button to pay the deposit (balance payable when cell is ready for delivery.)
Those drivers deciding a fuel cell is not for them may wish to consider a plumbed in fire extinguisher system instead, details of which are also on the link above.
