  3. Thankyou for those - I think we need to rename 446 Red Rum, he can't stop winning Grand Nationals!
  4. Is there no Mylaps data for this meeting please?
  5. Would just like to post a quick apology for what was almost certainly my worst commentary of the season - I couldn't even get the correct race leader in a couple of races. Sorry all who were present.
  6. Thankyou for correcting everything I got wrong tonight. Brilliant meeting, absolutely god-awful performance from me.
  7. Watching on tonight as unable to attend Northampton due to illness, thanks for the service and good luck to all drivers.
  8. Nice to be told that so I could announce it!!
  9. Just a note about a slight revision to the start time at Birmingham tomorrow - due to the high number of cars present and what is set to be a very busy evening, the first two races for National Ministox will now take place at 6pm and 6.15pm. The parade for the British Under-25 championship will be at 6.30pm, with the race getting under way at 6.45pm.
  10. The first Northampton session fo the year is set to be a big one, with drivers eager to get some track time in at one of BriSCA's spiritual homes ahead of the summer's big events at Brafield. New floodlights have been installed over the winter, so Saturday should see even better viewing and an even more heightened atmosphere. Driver list should be available tomorrow.
  11. Do the MSRA have a Novice of the Year race?
  12. I should be competing on the Friday, and possibly Saturday as well if I can get there in time. (edit for spelling)
  13. Just to let everyone coming to this know - Landor Street will be closed this Saturday due to repairs to a railway bridge and diversions will be in place.

  17. Remember, Remember, the Fourth of November - Fireworks, Racing and Fun! Hednesford's season closes this Sunday with the annual Firework Spectacular, and Canock Chase will light up with the biggest firework display seen yet at the UK's fastest oval raceway. Five fantastic formulas are on the bill, and the F1s will be continuing the upsurge in form the raceway has witnessed for the BriSCA Big League over the last few meetings. This really is the fastest and wildest oval racing in the UK on Bonfire weekend 2007! Here's the driver list... 11 Neil Scriven Gloucs 12 Michael Scriven Lechlade 16 Matthew Newson Norwich 21 Mark Gilbank Rotherham 41 Robert Broome Buxton 59 David Barry Malvern 91 Tony Smith Loughborough 92 Simon Brooke Reading 103 Richard Masterson Stoke On Trent 105 Chris Bonner Cheshire 141 Carl Pickering Mirfield 170 Mark Helliwell Lancashire 172 Michael Randell Leicestershire 195 Dean Whitwell Cambridge 231 Mark Peters Herts 259 Paul Hines Hinckley 285 Richard Earl North Lincs 295 Wesley Goodwin 301 Mark Allen Petworth 322 James Neachell Sutton Coldfield 327 Howard Davis Cheltenham 347 Stephen Hopkins Cheltenham 434 Ivan Pritchard Nottingham 460 Chris Cooke Nottingham 515 Frankie Wainman Jnr Keighley Also on the bill are 2 Litre Bangers, Truck Racing, Rebels and Ministox - plus of course the fabulous Fireworks. From 5.30pm a special Fireworks and Finals Admission is available, with entry just £6 adults and £3 children. Hednesford has had a great season in 2007 and it is set to go out with a bang this Sunday - see you there!
  18. We all have our favourites among the big stars of BriSCA F1, but every F1 driver deserves credit and recognition for the entertainment they provide - not least those lining up at the front of the grid in the white grade. Later this summer, Northampton International Raceway will recognise the talents of those at the lower end of the grading list. It has been announced the a BriSCA F1 White Top (C grade) only race will be staged at Northampton's meeting on August 11th. The race will be the first on the programme, over 20 laps, and is open to any driver at white grade at that time. Trophies will be presented to the first three drivers. More details will follow in due course. If anyone is interested in sponsoring this event, send me a message or call the Incarace office on 0121 357 7328. Dave Goddard Press Officer, Incarace Ltd.
  19. Latest is that there will be six Dutch drivers present in the F1s, and 14 Dutch and Belgian drivers in the F2s. The format should be three heats on both days, and possibly two consolations (but this is unconfirmed at the moment)
  20. Just got off the phone to the Incarace office where I have been told there are a total of 86 BriSCA F1s booked to attend NIR this weekend! I for one cannot remember a better turnout of F1s on tarmac! Can anyone confirm - is this a record for the hard stuff? This is going to be an epic weekend all round, as there are no fewer than 107 F2s as well as 44 Rebels booked in in addition to the awesome field of F1s - around 240 cars in total! There really is only one place to be this weekend - and that's the Euro weekend!

  22. Hednesford practice is usually Saturday afternoons, so I don't imagine there will be any this weekend what with the Brum meeting. The 2pm-4.30pm is paid practice I think, with free practice starting at around 5.15. (not 100% on this, but will be there from about 4.30 tomorrow and will check the official line on this for you!)
