After our first two successful meetings implementing this idea, we’re extending the bonus fund to the 18th March meeting! Help the Drivers who Entertain you by donating voluntarily to the bonus fund when buying advance tickets and that will be awarded between the drivers in the F1 Stock Cars and 2L Saloons racing this weekend with the most votes! How will it work? A suggested donation of £2, and every penny donated goes direct to drivers. After the meeting, you will then get chance to vote for who wins the cash by email & you will also be entered into a draw to win a free ticket. The more you donate the more votes & chances to win a free ticket! E.g. £4 donation 2 votes and ticket draw entries! The driver with the most votes in the two classes above will then receive half of the money raised and will receive the "People's award trophy" at the next meeting they race. Enhanced F1 Stock Car prize funding this weekend! A huge thank you to long standing Trackstar sponsor T M Browne Developments who have boosted the winner’s purse for the Grand National championship; the winner will now take home £500! There will also be an additional £100 plus trophy to both the best yellow and the best blue top. With thanks again to T M Browne Developments; the Helter Skelter (we don’t have a Grand National as the GNC will have concluded earlier in the night) will also pay £500 for the winner (normal monies on the rest of the places). If the Final winner takes the lap handicap and wins, they will receive £1000!!!! The meeting final is for the Ben Turner Trophy. The Family have generously given an additional £100 to the final winner and we have boosted the final winner's purse to £400 which means the final winner will take home £500 and the best white / yellow grade finisher in the final will also receive an additional £100 bonus together with a trophy. If a white / yellow grade driver wins the Final they will receive both awards.

The Ben ‘Benny’ Turner Memorial Race The F1 Stock Car meeting final on Saturday sees the 7th running of a race put together by the Turner family to remember the life of Benny, who sadly lost his life aged just 15 in May 2015 to a rare form of cancer after an agonisingly tough three year battle. He was a huge F1 Stock Car fan, especially Frankie Wainman Jnr and he also loved everything agricultural, especially tractors. With thanks to Ian Bennett and Howard Turner for asking us to hold the race; we are immensely honoured to be hosting this special race. We hope it's a good one - this is for you! #RacingForBen

Celebrity Shale Testing We know there’s a lot of interest in just who this might be – but it’s strictly embargo until after 3pm Saturday- so if you know, please keep it to yourself. This will be huge for the sport and cannot be jeopardised. The Celebrity has now taken to the shale twice, a practice at Northampton and now a test day this afternoon at King’s Lynn; ready for getting on track tomorrow. Tomorrow night will finish with the Dave Leonard Memorial as the Grand National race. Dave was a corner stone of the sport for a number of years; a racer, a fan, sponsor to a number of drivers and the reason why the Under 25 Championship came to fruition. A lot of people will fondly remember Dave, and we are privileged to be able to honour his memory again with his memorial race. A huge thank you to Lee Lawrence for his supreme effort in fundraising the enhanced prize fund; over £1000 of additional prize money; with the winner purse a total of £500!
