The booking list currently stands at over 70 F1s, but like all booking lists, this will change as the week goes on, not least due to damage from King's Lynn / Belle Vue.
The full list will be released later in the week.
Absolutely fabulous turnout, but can anyone explain why over 70 book for Coventry regularly and Belle Vue hardly ever gets 40 ? Is it the fence or the 5hr 5 race format. ? Hope to see the fantastic looking 231 DvS car .

normal at st maarten and blauwhuis you can qualify for the final in three heats,st maarten and blauwhuis have regular more then fifty cars,that means 25 plus heats
the dutch open at st maarten in august has most of the times 70 plus cars that means nine heats and a final
Now that sounds like a good old STOCK CAR MEETING ! Please tell me the dates and location of St Marten. The only tracks we have visited in Holland were at Baarlo Venray, Raamsdonksveer, Winkel and Voorschoten. Whats the nearest airport ?

HARY , I noticed that 65 Hans Baegen did very well and won one race at Leylystad. I s he any relation to Chris Baegen , who we used to see at the EVACO grass tracks at Voorschoten, Raamsdonksveer, Winkel and Nijmegen and several other tracks back in the 70's. Also what happened to the EVACO grass track racing club which used to be based in Voorschoten , and run by the Straver family. ?

Pretty good turnout at last at the "Vue" but still think that a 4 formula meeting lasting the usual 5 hours is too much. Would be much improved without the 10 to 15 bangers that get less and less every race !
