I am now travelling down to Birmingham on my own tomorrow from the Preston area, so if anyone living near the M6 needs a lift tomorrow and wants to share travel costs, then please get in touch tonight.

You can cross 217 Lee Fairhurst from the list but add 295 Wes Goodwin instead.
Derek is fulfilling a promise he made to Wes earlier in the year so the 295 car will on the Fairhurst bus again tomorrow.

Anyone interested in going to Kings Lynn for the saturday / sunday meeting this weekend.
I am setting off from Preston ,Lancashire area about lunch time on saturday and plan to stay on the field near the track on Saturday night.
Ideally I plan to sleep in my car as I don't have a small tent at the moment so anyone wishing to come with me will need to have their own tent for the night.

Seats available in my car from the Lancashire area for the European weekend at Northampton next week.
Setting off from Preston / Samlesbury area around 12 lunch time Saturday to arrive at track for about 3pm to 3.30 pm approx. Camping at track and returning at the end of racing Sunday.
Its just me so can fit another two in comfortably. Split costs fairly amoung passangers and driver.
Can collect on route depending on location of course.
Please get in touch if interested, but will be away from home until Sunday.

Going to Hednesford on Sunday from the Preston area setting off around 10 am. Me and my dad so room in car for 1 possibly two adults or 1 adult and a child. Leg room is a bit short behind drivers seat for an adult. Let me know if interested.

No Dave Berresford as his car is currently without a gearbox due to having clutch issues at Buxton, but he will be out both days at Coventry next week.

Thanks for all the help but now purchased one from enginesuk.co.uk for £734 inc VAT and delivery thats done 42,000 miles. Just waiting for it to be delivered to the garage now.

I am offering Formula 1 and possibly Formula 2 stock car poster prints, but for 1 week only at these prices.
These are printed on proper photographic paper with a gloss finish, so look real nice framed on the wall.

These are for prints only and the framing is down to you.
Most drivers are available and I hope to post a link to a selection later today, alternatively you can browse the stoxnet gallery and seach for pictures by Chris24. Most can be enlarged to the biggest size but please check with me before ordering any specific picture.
I have action pictures of most drivers at various tracks without the catch fencing on the photos, so if you are after an on track shot of any particular driver then please ask.
Posters can have a colour border if you request it or can be a full frame print.
Postage and packing will be £3.00 per order and sent in a cardboard tube or I can deliver them for free at an up coming meeting at either Belle Vue, Birmingham, Buxton, Hednesford or the Euro at Northampton.
I can accept payment via Pay Pal or at the track if necessay.

Just e mailed him to enquire. Theres also a complete 1997 A4 Avant on e bay thats in Preston as well and current bid is £430 ish but not sure about the mileage as its done 193,000. Mine had done 150,000 when it went but this is more down to the loss of radiator water than mileage though.

My engine expired on the way to Buxton on Sunday and my mechanic has confirmed that the radiator lost its water and the car didn't warn me, the engine ran real hot again no warning and it has basically melted down internally, although it didn't seize. Anything plastic touching the block melted and thats when the oil light came on and was the first sign of trouble. So my engine is scrap and I need a replacement engine.
Can anyone recommend a business or somewhere that is trust worthy where I can purchase a good condition fully complete second hand engine.
1997 Audi A4 1.9 TDi 110 Hp quattro engine.
Any help appreciated.

I am posting this on behave of 218 Derek Fairhurst and his team.
Derek's gearbox exploded in a big way during practice at Venray on Saturday and is not repairable. So he is in need of a replacement gearbox to fit his tarmac car before he can race again. Thanks to James Neachell, he was loaned a gear box to use at Venray but he will be needing a replacement for his own when they return from their holidays in a few weeks time.
Unfortunately, I don't know the specs of the gearbox he needs but Derek is on the look out for a gearbox for sale or if anyone is willing to sponsor a gearbox.
Either PM Suzzanne or myself if you can help.

I understand that you can pay at the pitgate, so that you can watch from the terrace area on the back straight. So could i still gain entry via the pit gate if I bought my admission ticket in advance ?

What did you do before the internet and booking lists ? Did you ever go to a meeting when you just didn't know who was going to turn up ?
For me its a choice of what meetings i do dependant on costs and other factors like what else I am doing this month that make me decide on what meetings i attend, not who is booked in to race !
I would love to have gone to the qualifier at Belle Vue, but with an up coming weekend trip to Cowdenbeath, and Knockhill, followed by my annual Le Mans trip and Goodwood trips the following weeks, then i have made the decision to sit this one out as i can't afford to do everything.

Please can you confirm if 390 Stuart Smith is booked in for the gala meeting. I am going either way but could do to see Stuart on Saturday but could do to know before hand if he is intending to be there so that I can prepare something before then.
