Someone asked me to try and get this and we have! In addition to the other prizes in the pinned post:
Ever wanted to be the one calling those immortal words “Ladies and Gentlemen, START YOUR ENGINES” for a BRISCA F1 World Final?
Well now, thanks to the wonderful generosity of Steve Rees and Jackie from STARTRAX comes your chance!
They have kindly donated to the Rainbow roof Stox experience draw not only an adult entry to the BRISCA F1 Workd Final for 2021 but also the chance for YOU to declare the most famous words in motorsport to start the big race itself. Absolutely a unique Stox experience.
To be in with a chance of winning you need to be in the Stox draw scheduled to take place this Saturday on BSCDA TV. A £10 donation will get you a ticket, a £20 will get you name on the Rainbow Roof - this will still be made and hopefully be raced for if not adorn a car next year!
Donate via https://gf.me/u/yqyfd3 or via PayPal

Entire close this Friday 20th Nov.
Got to be in it to win it!

Perhaps the people who put all the time, effort, prizes, funds, organising funds, promotional effort, let alone the drivers and teams etc, should be who decides the outcome of the series rather than the fella who has said the one off race idea was poor.
Rock on Rodders and keep kicking em while they are down.

If it was planned to be run as a one off race, grid positions decided on points, that’s how it should be run...the drivers went into the last round knowing that, changing it afterwards just isn’t right. Run it as the ‘ Rainbow Roof’ one off race at the first Kings Lynn or Startrax meeting next year.
I mean if we had run the season as normal this year and then had a lock down before the WF do we then award it to whoever won the toss of the coin at the Semi Final?By all accounts it’s unfair and not sporting to remove backmarkers but it’s absolutely fine to change a race series and award it to the points winner at the last but one race.
If it does go ahead next year I just hope Dave That you are available and not on duty...if you are is the Wash deep enough to park up a submarine?? - I can pick you up at the River Humber and drive you down if not...😄
Good Luck with whatever the outcome.
Andy
Thanks for the offer Andy, should be ok as I’m due to move to bringing a brand new boat out of Barrow in Jan. Next year will be disruptive but achievable I hope! A few major evolutions will be bound to conflict with major meetings though!
Agree re the Chase and I think most BSCDA are in agreement. We also have an idea for the actual roof and who wears it - bound to upset a few though!
Hopefully speak with BMB and BSCDA this week.0 -
So the winner of the Gold is the one who scored the most qualifying points?
Same analogy Rod.Fact is the series was/is for fun and the roof a tribute piece to the NHS and frontline workers

Most have paid with just a couple pending.
Track day itself will take place, like the other experiences, once we are in a better Covid state!
There remains an ECL F1 day and an Dk f2 day in the main draw which will take place for all those who have donated £20 or over. This draw will be pre meeting on the 8th.0 -

A few big donations over the weekend, one paid and one pending and a couple of prize offers;
1. I can now reveal is was Keith Pearce #58 has donated £300 into the grade awards pot making that a minimum of £500. This is on behalf of Keith and Alfie and in memoriam to Keith’s late father Brian. All three names will be on the roof.
2. Luke and Team Davidson will be donating £500 into the NHS Fundraiser pot. Massive thanks to Jamie, Luke, Tom and all Team Davidson.
3. Team BSR have generously donated £100 in LoveToShop vouchers and some teamware to add to the Stox experience prizes.
4. Paul Tulley has donated a framed picture of the winners choice to the draw too.
5. FWJ and Team are making the aerofoil with it being sign written by Ian and Billy Higgins.
6. Finally, FWJ and Karl have donated a track day for 4 people (2 cars). I intend to eBay this off in order to raise as much as possible.
Many thanks to all.
As you can see the drivers are helping but we are drying up in spectator donations - still at less than 140 people have supported thus far.
We don’t know what the future holds but the NHS is going to play a key role getting us through this. Please help if you can.
