The BSCDA/BriSCA F1 E-Series concluded on Saturday night with the running of the New Zealand style Teams Championship and it was a fantastic end to the series.
We would like to thank a lot of people who worked hard behind the scenes to entertain fans during the lockdown period.
Firstly, we'd like to thank Rob Jacklin for the initial idea of creating this series.
Kane Morgan, Emiel de Jong and Ashley England for the setup and constant support for the drivers competing during the week and also on the night of the events.
Richard Hipkiss and Jack Ward for their help as stewards on race nights.
Matthew Hutchison for creating amazing skin packs for all the drivers cars.
Jack Coleman for his graphic work.
Tsjalle Greidanus for helping with the grades.
Jordan Cooper (JCproduction) for streaming the events every week.

All sponsors and drivers who have supported us over the past twelve weeks.
And finally, to all the fans for tuning in and enjoying the entertainment each week. Without you, the series would not have been the huge success that it's been.

The BSCDA are delighted to bring to you an interview with someone who has been mentioned quite a lot in interviews over the last couple of weeks.
That person is Kev Smith (ex 64) all the way from New Zealand.
This interview has been split into two parts due to Kev's excellent storytelling. Be assured, it's worth the watch and we discuss various topics such as:
How he started his career, and the 'before he was old enough' test drive as Neil Briggs farm.
That 1991 semi final race.
Why he did what he did and his reflections afterwards.
His WF podium finishes and the reason he didn't make it three on the bounce in 1995.
His racing style and why he raced the way he did.
That Kev Clare incident.
The Tony Cole era.
Why he had a council sign as a sump guard.
The reason for racing on the dirt tracks in Holland.
His views on New Zealand and the racing there.
And....his many funniest moments in stock cars.
This is definitely not one to miss (neither is part two) and we hope you enjoy this fantastic interview.

Ahead of tonight's E-Series meeting and as we are currently unable to race we are looking to raise funds for the BSCDA Trust Fund. Last year our collection at King's Lynn raised £1074.36, if we could match this (or even more) this year we would be thrilled. The Trust Fund was set up with the sole purpose of helping drivers who have suffered injuries whilst taking part in Stock Car Racing. Over the past 40+ years it has helped 100s of drivers and continues to do so.
