As we are so late in the racing season it has not been possible to find a suitable replacement date so unfortunately the National Points Championship Shootout will run over nine rounds and not ten.

A bit of factual information. Of the 39 cars that raced at the first meeting, 14 of them are not currently booked in to race this Saturday. And we have 16 drivers booked in or this Saturday that did not race at the first meeting. And 25 at both meetings.

Ricky, just to be sure, are you referring to the GN?

I think you will find that is the F2 meeting on the previous Sunday. Nothing up for the F1 meeting as yet but would expect it to be at least £22 for adults as it has been for the last couple of years. oops - my error, sorry

My aplogies to all concerned It was H575 Yoren Winlands who was injured and knocked out. From where I was sat, the number looked like H525, Yoren was seen Sunday morning walking in the Northampton pits, so I guess is okay.

However, the situation with Stuart’s retirement from racing has brought brother Andy out of retirement and he has stepped in and will take the drivers seat for the time trials

Both F2 and 2L Saloons have a last chance race on Sunday for getting on the back of the UK Championship grids. Also you get to See Andy Smith in an F1 on Saturday.
